I had viper and weta mod installed prior to this mod so I hope it doesn't cause you issues.

I was running the stockish rom by team dev digitel which has viper baked into it and when I flashed this rom/mod I got system ui force closing so I rebooted to recovery and did a factory reset and after it booted up for the first time all these mods were there. I want to do it right tho and start from fresh but i was worried that I couldn't use viper.
Man this makes Note 8 feel like a custom rom even without TWRP. Im on my phone constantly now.
I have tryed flashing 1.0 and the phone will not boot,anyone with any input is greatly appreciated,all weta mod info and data has been deleted as well
What version of Samfail are you on? I have not had any issues at all.

That is very weird. Where is the file located? Is it on an external or is it in internal memory? There are some cases where external memory can cause issues upon flashing depending on which extSD ur using. If its in internal try putting in external, and if it is in external try vice versa. Everything should boot fine.

Yeah same issue,I hear the boot sound but it won't go past the Samsung logo,not sure why
U do have to leave it a while after flash for first time as I have modified the framework files and these take time to develop the new ART files. So maybe let it sit for a few minutes after flashing.

If I try to edit a contact it force closes. Only way I can edit is reflash root and do it before I flash Twiztd

So I switched back to my Note 8 on Samfail V1 tested contacts, everything works fine when I need to edit. Reflashed Samfail V2 on my other Note8 everything works fine when I need to edit a contact. Dwnloaded Twiztd to phone storage(1.5) Flashed it with Flashfire..tried to edit a contact same result...forced closed. I have not installed anything, all permissions are on. Have not froze anything with Titanium.

Strange I'm on his 1.5 version and samfail 2.5 and can edit a contact. Maybe try the Google contacts app instead?
