Hey, I know this is a dead project but perhaps someone can help me.
The rom looks good and works fine for the most part, except the folowing little problem.
I cant activate Wi-Fi.
I don't know whym, but it won't let me activate it in any way.
Any ideas?
Help would be much appreciated.

Try to make a clean install of the rom. If you already tried it, try to redownload the ROM, maybe your last download was corrupted.

hello everyone. I am working on a sony-lollipop based/ themed rom with this rom as a base. And test/alpha build is ready for it. Anyone want to try it and give suggestions? PM me if interested :)

Sup guys.

I know this is a dead project, but i just wanted to THANK YOU ALL! I had a Xperia U that since i got it was using the very first version of this build. Now, my mother-in-law is using my old phone, and it's still blazing fast :) . She just don't like that the battery lasts "only 2 and a half days" compared with her old Nokia dumbphone. :p

I have just one issue that does not seems to be related with the ROM(maybe it's a gapps problem): Contacts are somehow duplicating phone numbers while syncing with Google(same contact, duplicated number). Anyone have a workaround for this issue?

Thanks again!

Has anyone else found this rom to totally break a few months back? Google Play Services is constantly crashing every few mins. I've done a full wipe, reflashed multiple times, tried a few different gapps versions. Everytime Google Play Services updates to the latest version and starts crashing again. It's a shame as it was a good rom.

Wipe the whole phone including internal storage and copy new file while booted to recovery using twrp mtp and flash the two files.

Already done it, wiped it a few times and flashed with various gapps same issue everytime. I've had to block Google Services from updating, but then that breaks loads of apps.

So.. I like updated from a pre-Build 1 version to FINAL one.
And I noticed total user available RAM is reported to be 12 MB more, up to 392. A similar lead can also be seen when comparing this to latest CM12.1 build.

Now, does anybody know which magical commit allowed for that? One day I could even get to set up a build environment, just to merge latest ASBs..
And this is basically the only stopper that makes prefer kitkat to lollipop (believe or not, effective memory usage on a clean boot looked the same across versions)

Then, an increase of 3% isn't certainly going to be all that mystic.. Though once you consider that's just free ram for you, the relative improvement can be quite more tangible.
EDIT: found it! (+ some of this I guess?)

EDIT2: .-. it was then reverted (this?)... and ultimately added back again someway else :\
EDIT3: albeit CM11 final build is dated 2015 and something, for some reason it never received the revert commit in the first place

EDIT4: Just when I was starting to loose faith in ever understanding all of this madness, miracle happened.
They have managed to get 3.4 working on STE! Which in turn means CMA! (or at least partially I guess)

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
    */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    Installation:
    1. Download ROM zip and GApps zip.
    2. Boot into recovery.
    3. Wipe data and cache.
    4. Flash ROM zip.
    5. Flash GApps zip. You must flash gapps after every upgrade to CM11 since /system is formatted, wiping your previous add-ons.
    6. Reboot.
