That error in the updater-binary is from the MultiROM recovery. Some CM based ROMs use leo as the device name, while others use Z3. When they don't match, you get an error.

Me too i am in the same situation as paddy. Where can i get a new kernel with Fotapartition? can somebody tell me which recovery works i tried to flash boot.img from inside the file and I had some booltloop. thank you in advance

Okay, I just took a test shot of the camera, and I can confirm that this is the second ROM that does the "curve" in the center of the image. I don't know if it's a issue with the camera hardware, or a CM12 quirk. Hope it's not a HW quirk because that would be a major disappointment!
Here's two captures that I took. The one on the left is the stock ROM, you'll be able to tell it's not curved. And yes, there's a lot of cheese in that picture. The one on the right is Candy5 ROM. The problem there is that the beams look like they are curved, when actually they are not.
Please don't just shun this bug away, it can be considered moderate priority but it needs to be fixed by whatever means. I don't know if it's due to the 4:3 resolution or what.

You can't, it's hardware-based.

Well, thats distortion are probably made by new wide-angle lens in camera and they are typical for wide-angle lenses (known problem in photography) and have to be corrected by firmware or software. Until we get new sources for lollipop from Sony, that can be a huge issue.
Flash the recovery from the linked post with fastboot, After that flashing of the candy rom should work without any issues.
