This ROM is great, definitely my favorite, you really notice all the extra features if you try others. I'm at 200 hours uptime, I think someone solved or is defiantly working on the random rebooting problem that was going on early in 5.1. Battery is great with just small tasks/idle... I went 8 days before I dropped to 20% charge. If I turn Data on I get just over a day or so between charges, I think this could be better, but I don't actually have data, and my carrier still gives me an IP, maybe this messes up apps and cause them to draw more battery. I do use the included privacy guard on apps like google services.

I still don't understand why so many roms ship with the CM recovery. I read that it is not really functional. My wish would be if Validus had a working recovery

I said so many times to flash twrp on fota partition....then it survives thru rom flashes and its fully fonctionnal.
And even on KK , LTE data is battery consuming...

other notes; still best rom for ZL. what a shame how sony handles this devices IR blaster

why is fota and recovery so much different on our devices? are other devices in this way too? why is my recovery in fota not used above all? on another rom It used an older recovery, when I went back to validus fota recovery was still there -- I do not understand this and cannot get answers..

PS: I found why it is so unstable. It is overclocked. I mean, the rom is clocking the cpu to 1728 by default. I had a lot of problems with kitkat and OC like this. It is a bad idea. Ruins the battery life and there is no performance gain. Not even 1 FPS. No gain. That's it.
So, please, don't overclock by default. Please.

M is not there yet, even M AOSP from sony is damn buggy and its a preview, and honestly, nothing yet to be excited.

Not sure if this a trebuchet bug or rom related... after reboot my grid size is messed up, I have to go in and set it to something else and then set it back to fix. I use Cozy. The picture is just for fun. Much thanks Alx31!

Hi guys !

There is a bad problem with the overclock. Please, don't do it. When i shoot a video, the phone bricks itself and i have to dissasemble it. Sometimes it does it randomly. These 200mhz do nothing useful. Like half fps on antutu. It just makes the phone useless. What annoys me is that, even if I set it to 1512mhz, it just turns it up again after a few minutes. Settings don't stick. And even at stock frequency, it still crashes sometimes. I dunno what is wrong with this kernel but it's very unstable. Great rom, but unstable. It is perfect though. It has everything except one useful feature:
You know how in tesla rom you have the option to use the camera focus button to light up the screen and when you realease it, it shuts it down. This peak preview is very useful for checking the time. Sadly, xposed additions doesent seem to work.

Other than the stability problems, the battery life is insane, especially with the saver on. Before I travel to germany, i forgot to charge it and in the morning it was on 26%. 8hrs with the bus and then 2hr flight while listening to music- when i arrived i had 15% left:good:

PS: I am currently in Leipzig, Germany. As you know, there are some serious copyright things'n sh*t going on. Is it legal to download your roms from here ?

Ok look if u clean flash the rom, u downclock it to stock values with in built kernel adiutor, u won't get any problems.
Nobody said its stable to overclock!!! U need to higher voltage a bit when u OC by the way :/

And about xposed...don't come over here to complain about it, its xposed related; not rom.
Everybody knows that xposed always created unwanted bugs...

And finally, tesla for odin is not ready yet to be released, thats the reason why there's no thread yet.

Still the same thing. And the only settings i can access are the governor and some profiles. If I use kernel tuner, pimp my rom or aero controls, it resets sooner or later. Please, leave OC an option, but don't overclock it by default. There is no real gain. It only makes battery life much worse without even noticable performance gain.

About xposed- I am not complaining, i am just saying that the module is not working as I wanted. I was talking about getting that feature in lollipop. The peak preview thingy.

PS: I really think that you should go back and finish the Tesla 4.4.4 rom. It is amazing, but laggy and buggy. Some useless things can be removed and optimized. I hope Tesla for LP will be just as insane !

I think you should know and be responsible to know your own country's laws and regulations for downloading. He is providing these things for download so why would Germany have a problem with it?

Whats the big deal about Tesla ? I tried it once just for a bit and it just did not have all the functionality Validus has..
