my friend, tesla have RRO....means layers support, and btw test build has already the black out switch as we use to get on KK times.
hopefully next release will have it

Tesla is hands down the best aosp rom I've used. The only bug I've encountered is when there are many tasks, system ui fc (using slim recents).

It'd be perfect if it had themes support, I don't understand how the layers work, but I guess it's similar. Could you explain it?

it will keep RRO support, no cm theme engine...
i won't explain how layers manager works; not the right spot, use searchbox u will find out
