Hey guys, I am having a problem with my Z5C on Xpower. The ear speaker is not working at all! When i go into sony menu and do service test there is no sound from the left speaker (and its used as speaker during calls!). I have found out its a software issue. Any workaround for this please?

I sometimes have a problem with bluetooth, it itself turns off and is not going to turn on.
Helps to restart the phone.
It is irregular, sometimes once a week and sometimes several times a day.
Can anyone help me. I use bluetooth everyday - smartwatch, speakerphone etc.

Hey guys.

Im having trouble trying to get XPower working on my Z5C. Heres what I do:

1) Install 32.0.A.5.32 using flashtool
2) Root using Nilezon's oneclick root script
3) Install TWRP using Nilezon's recovery and boot images

Its all good up to this point but then I:
4) Install 32.2.A.0.305 using flashtool and I get an unrooted version of android running on my phone and no TWRP!

I am installing it wrong? Am I missing a step? How can I upgrade frimware from .32 to .305 without losing root and TWRP???

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP, THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTSSSS!

Just flash stock firmware .305, than flash recovery from ADB:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (for example)
than flash ROM from recovery.
All is in 1-st post.

After installing that ROM phone does not turn on, it makes short vibration and after that only black screen. Than, I have to "fastboot flash boot boot.img" where boot.img is 35,4 Mb (37179392 bytes) (don't remeber where I got it, I think it's some stock kernel with TWRP Recovery and DRM Fix). After that phone is turning on.
Why is that so?

It's not possible to update (through play google) SuperSU in this XPower 5 ??
That's a part of my problem. I hope someone can help out. I managed to create a new boot.img with the latest supersu with rootkernel (https://forum.xda-developers.com/xp...oot-automatic-repack-stock-kernel-dm-t3301605), but supersu is causing huge battery drain and I'm quite unhappy with my device right now. It seems like there is no chance to change the superuser app. Even when I create a boot.img with superuser via rootkernel, supersu ist still there as a system app. there's no way to delete it. I already tried to uninstall supersu system app with this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63615067&postcount=2459 but it didn't do the trick.

is anyone else facing this problem? and is someone out there who has an idea or could upload a working kernel!? any help is highly appreciated! I love my z5 compact and xpower 5.0, but right now it's kind of annoying... and no fun at all!

Can anyone provide a working boot.img patched with the latest supersu for xpower 5.0? I coulnd't get it to work with rootkernel. I used the permissive boot.img of xpower 5.0 and patched it with rootkernel, but I ended up in a bootloop. Everything is working fine with the original kernel, expept the annoying message that I should update supersu. It's not possible to blend this notification out with gravitybox. There are several options to blend notification messages out, but it's not possible to do that with the supersu update notification... Any help on that is highly appreciated!

Guys, my z5c (which is used by my son now) is running XPower v5.0. I need to reflash to original (latest) Sony firmware. Is it safe just to use flashtool, download latest fw via XPeriFirm and flash it?

I installed successfully XPower v5.0 in TWRP(twrp-3.0.2-0-E5823-20160417 and TWRP3.1.1-0-Z5C-suzuran) and It is always frozen in first boot of system.
Before XPower installation I installed successfully many stock firmwares(lollipop - E5823_32.0.A.6.200_SG.ftf, nougat(E5823_32.4.A.1.54_R1E_1298-7711.ftf / E5823_32.3.A.0.378_1298-7782_R3D.ftf)) and after each was result same ... frozen in first boot of XPower. I'm desperated from it. :(
Any suggestions???
And how long it should take first boot of XPower?

In past I had installed this system but now it is not possible.

When flashing the rom and you are still in AROMA installer the process of "extracting system" seem to stuck at 20% mark just wait
When chosing custom installation make sure to select one home application!

I take that JTdevAndroid has stopped working on this?
