  • Many more to come

These builds are compiled using UBERTC 4.9 with 4.4.4 FML Kernel. There will be no specific routine of when these builds will be updated.

Since the lack of users lately. Off Topic in this thread is ALLOWED

Is anyone interested in OmniROM 4.4.4? It's synced with the latest sources... I have it built, but I don't know if anyone wants it :p

Nicee! KitKat imo was the most stable on our kfhds .

Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Can't argue with that. That's why I built SlimLP, in hopes having having a non-laggy Lollipop tablet :p
@xWolf13, thanks for building this. It's nice to see that old devices still get a bit of love :)

>>>Sent from my homebuilt TARDIS running Android 5.1.1... or maybe it's a Kindle Fire HD running SlimLP<<<

Tested out the Carbon version there. Seems slightly smoother than the 4.4.2 omnirom I was previously using.
Also this kernel is stable at 1.6ghz now where as before my max stable was 1.5ghz. Every little helps on this old device. It seems the cpu frequencies scale a lot quicker than whatever kernel I was using before, which is probably where the difference is coming from. :) :good:

Has anyone noticed any performance difference between dalvik and art on these Kindle's?

ART seems go cause more lag and redraws than Dalvik does. That's just my experience though.

Great rom!!! Thx a lot!

First I tried the CarbonROM (clean install twice) but unfortunately there was a bug: the Amazon Kindle app wasn't working.

Now I'm running the OmniROM without any problem and it's great!

Now the questions:
- What is the "omni-4.4.4-tate-HOMEMADE_TEST.zip" about?
- Would it be possible to add the CPU speed of 1,6 ghz, please?
- could other governors be added?
- Is the gpu already oc'ed?

Thx & bye
