Just brief out procedure how to install theme in substratum. Even for me it didn't work.

Patch doesn't​ work. Sim is detected but after a few seconds both sims are greyed out.

IWLAN problem on 1st SIM Card when turning on the WiFi Hotspot, like on the MIUI.
But, overall, I love this ROM so much because of the OMS (even this is old OMS, not OMS7, but at least I can use my fav theme)

Best custom ROM for Redmi 3S

Thanks for this light and functional ROM. Tried Lineage, Resurrection remix as well but like this ROM the best. I have set it on my daily driver and use the phone mainly to check and respond to my office emails and take calls. Do not have much use for the other features but having said that they also work correctly. Only issue I found is while setting this ROM on top of the Resurrection remix ROM was not able to start the WIFI during setup. Had to do a ''clean all" from MIUI Flash and then come back to this ROM and then WIFI was working fine. As far as Gapps was concerned except for pico no other flavor works for me. Not sure why that happens. But then Pico is good enough to start and later you can always download the additional apps

Ok ROM is really lightweight, smooth as butter. There's good battery backup (I'm using latest soviet kernel). Phone is fast, no lags with interactive governor. Io governor set to ZEN. Camera and GPS works fine too, but I have a question about OMS substratum layers... If I choose in theme android 6 OMS version and apply the theme, it will pop up error message every time, but if o choose just android 6 version without OMS it works fine. Can somebody explain me how to apply compatible OMS theme without errors? Thank you dev for this cool rom and thanks in advance for reply

It's because most themes are made for Android 7 with oms.

Getting an error "This theme does not pass substrantum's integrity verification.". I'm using only free themes available from play store.
What's the problem?

Video camera issues

After using the phone for a while, whenever I record video only the very first frame gets recorded, the audio is fine

This gets "fixed" by rebooting the phone, but comes back in a matter of minutes

This seems to be a known issue as per this patch for Resurrection Remix:

PATCH-No Need any patch

Actually some people face videos frames drop issue in all letest Roms it only happen with few people in simple word recorded vidio play but it stuk on one frame and audio still playing ,1st dont flash this patch with rom chek your video recorded clip if you face issue than flash this patch may be it not fixed after 1 flash than flash it again here is Link-

I tried patching that to this very rom (AOSP-JDC) multiple times, but the issue persists; it needs to be imported

However it has lead me to suspect that, due to the nature of "it may require to be applied multiple times", the patch does nothing and is the rebootings people perform that temporarily fix this issue and no permanent correction is achieved; hope I am wrong, gotta do some testings on Resurrection Remix
