I have something new for you!

It is based on Unlegacy Android Project 9.0 CAF Beta. This UBR contains some useful tools that can be easily uninstalled.

What does UBR stand for?

The letters UBR stand for Update By Recovery - this is a very non conventional way of flashing (invented by me).
This backup does not contain the EFS partition which holds your personal IMEI number, that's why you can use it on any Nexus 5 phone!

Features:

  • One-click Upgrade Process
  • Super Smooth Android 9.0
  • A mixture of both CAF and AOSP
  • Flash Friendly File System (F2FS)
  • Google Pixel 3 Experience
  • Unlimited Google Drive storage
  • Google Lens and Adaptive Icons
  • Magisk Manager 16.7 (ROOT)
  • Rounded Screen Corner
  • CloudFlare DNS
  • Built-in AdAway ad blocker

Why it is so BIG?

The size of the project is 1.26GB (ROM + OpenGApps Nano + other Google apps + Tools & Modules).
After installation you can remove all unwanted apps including Magisk (Unroot).

Requirements:

All you need is Google Nexus 5 16/32GB smartphone with TWRP 3.2.3.0 (Team Win Recovery Project) installed.

Download:

I'm not providing any links, but you can find the project site on <Mod Edit>

What is invented here? This is just a backup file of Unlegacy ROM with added additional mods installed from different devs, right?
And the misleading name! First Ever!

Google cam 5.1 hdr wont work and completely buggy.
Unlimited storage? Google patched that years back, right? It just shows unlimited but actually it would count against your storage.

You can uninstall all unwanted apps and free RAM memory.

Really? I dedicate my time and energy to create the easiest solution for beginners.

  1. Show me who else uses backups for installing ROMs?
  2. I've been using this nickname since running Windows on the Nokia N95 in 2009.
  3. You can uninstall camera app and install better one.
  4. I didn't know that (use Mega.nz with 50GB instead of 15 GB).

If you don't like it, don't use it!

Are you kidding me? You have right to mislead people in XDA that you are offering unlimited magical storage. But I have no right to criticize?
Also the backup file is some kind of invention by you!? And you are advertising it in other's ROM threads.
No, thanks. I dont want mega.nz's 50gb.

To say it simple, its a backup file. Not invention.
