Wow! I'm surprised it even booted up on your i9505. This rom is made for i9300 (s3, your phone's grandad xD).
It wasn't the ROM he booted because he booted a lollipop rom (as stated) and this ends up at jellybean or kitkat

Ive sorted it thanks it was the "App ops" app that controls your applications permissions i had used it to go into the UI and stop any changes on it so when i was trying to change any settings once i had done them the app ops had forced them back to Default! so i have allowed the UI to be able to change them now..

im a bit lost please help me. i was running jb 4.1.2 stock before (rooted and with cwm) i have succesfully flashed the omegarom v61 with full wipe and now my phone stuck on bootlogo. When i try to factry reset its says that "E: unkown volumw for path /sd-ext" i have no access to a computer right now is there any way that i could fix this using cwm?
Better still to wait until you can access a PC because best fallback is to reflash again to stock firmware before your next attempt and that means have to use Odin.

The xda have some rules and one of them is not asking for updates The devs are doing this 4 free as volunteers and many of then are working developing rom are made mainly in their free time
If the dev feel and have time ( not doing another projects ) it will do it

I have recently installed omega rom v61 in samsung s3 9300 model. Now iam confused over which kernel to flash for maximum control over processor and battery. And i will be very glad if some one give a reply.
My previous roms were archidroid 3.0.2 》》3.1.5. Has to say that 3.0.2 was a rocket compared to 3 year old laggy stock Samsung. but....had some bugs like echo when using imo app etc.

Omega files is working now. I uninstalled the old version and installed Omega files pro again from Playstore.

I am planning to use this rom as my daily driver. Can someone confirm what happens to the latest security patches that are released by google. They are generally included in the rom updates but since this is not being updated now, how are the security patches delivered?
