Issue related:

If you have an issue please post in this format so I can check it faster thanks

Example:
Code:
 1 wiped
2 flashed jewel.zip
3 flashed preinstall.zip
4 rebooted.

Post your full phones specs
Code:
 Hboot:
Recovery:
Hardware:
Firmware version
Radio version
get the latest of both zips and do a log cat of your Ubuntu touch booting up so I can compare it to the others..

Its real simple:

Hopefully you have android SDK or Adb
Open command prompt or terminal type:
Code:
Adb logcat
let it run until Ubuntu boots up
Post the out put on pastebin.com

Thank you for your time and support..I'll keep at this until we can all boot it.

Would the usb have to be connected inorder to flash the recovery? Does the ota install the stock recovery which is y u tell us to reflash the recovery? Or is this a special recovery that is designed to work with ubuntu?

its a special recovery swap partition from what I read.
its just a black screen its so you can adb to the phone and start Ubuntu Touch.
i will be doing this later and if it works ill be posting pics and maybe a video.

It wouldnt stay on the htc boot screen for more than ~ 5 minutes at most. The boot animation is another story however.

Re: [ROM] Ubuntu Touch Preivew

Thanks. Let us know. I'm scared lol. It's not very encouraging when the author hasn't even tested, himself. :p

From my Evo LTE, yup.

Yeah it doesn't work I redownloaded the source and I'm compiling as I type this.
I have another phone so now I can test it on my evo.
