coming from my rom and app programming xp, and the fact that i have tried all of these roms in million benchamakrs and personal tests from my pc. ICS laggs, its much less smooth. ICS is faster than gb and is lighter but its lightness and speed get rid of the smoothness which miui needs to work. otherwise miui is not miui. the thing is rashed97 has jb stable builds for all lg optimus one family phones so you can make a new and old bb version of miui and the community will like that. i could help out if needed but im busy with college and highschool and my app building so...

anyway like i said project butter rocks ics out of the water. i personaly never used a rom for more than a few days but with the jb i have never switched since. everyone give it a go its better than ics trust me

I don't want any thermonuclear wars... OK so here is the thing :-
I gave miui v4 with ICS a shot and I am not supporting it for the following reasons :-

1. first of all ICS requires more RAM and miui requires even more, without any app running, I just got abt 80mb of free RAM... overall it kills the user experience

2. lockscreen lags a long way and there is nothing I can do unless there is a method to upgrade SOC ;)

3. HQ videos and other stuff works good but above all the thing is that after installing ROM user experience should be like that it should make u stick to that particular ROM, but I didn't felt it this way.

My verdict : let gb prevail.. further good news is my exams are over and lappy is back.. :)

@russian392

abt project butter then u must know that it makes the ui rock at 60fps and our device cant achieve that even in benchmarks.. so forget abt that 60fps will prevail over whole ui. so its not the project butter for the smoothness u r explaining

1. Miui doesn't need that much ram
It's mainly just the launcher and the music app
2. To fix lockscreen lags just select gb lockscreen from settings

Yes fundooz is right miui eats and requires a lot of ram
I have tried it in s3 and all the time it eats 90% of my ram And heavy Battery Drain

I am not getting much time to play around with the ROM coz of training that I am undergoing.. So while u guys wait, I provide u guys with miui Xpression with the following changes

-> All fixes incorporated
-> 4 way reboot mod now directly accessible
-> Stability and speed improvements

Download link :- http://db.tt/Fxewmr7F

Mediafire mirror needed..

Guys I have no idea when I can provide next update coz I just got extremely busy.. If anyone has time and want to work on it, he can take this project from here. Just intimate me about it :)
