Yes. And it works much better and quite fluid than Android 7.1. Also camera works partially there

Then, LOS14.1 will be discontinued soon?? How about deep sleep issue on LOS15.1?Yes. And it works much better and quite fluid than Android 7.1. Also camera works partially there
Well, if I get the same status as nougat, I guess I'll discontinue it yeah. Not to mention that LineageOS stopped pushing security patches to the cm-14.1 branch. You can also expect LineageOS 16.0 once 15.1 it's enough stable. Then, LOS14.1 will be discontinued soon?? How about deep sleep issue on LOS15.1?
Whoa, let's not get ahead of ourselves. On second thought, let's just go straight to LineageOS 18.1 LOLYou can also expect LineageOS 16.0 once 15.1 it's enough stable.
Android 9 would be a good stopping point. Anything over is excessive and it's gonna be the laggiest experience. Afterall it's a mediatek device that requires a big amount of ZRAM to survive.Whoa, let's not get ahead of ourselves. On second thought, let's just go straight to LineageOS 18.1 LOL
^^^ THIS.I am very pleased with the Alpha version of 15.1.
@Rortiz2, you have done a very good job once again. It is smooth and fast, I am quite pleased. I also installed Open Gapps ARM64 8.1 Pico without issue.
For anyone having a hard time rooting via Magisk, it is very simple.
1) Install Magisk Manager.
2) Extract the boot.img from the ROM and put it on your Kindle (SD Card recommended.)
3) Back to the Magisk manager, click on install, Method is "Select and Patch file" then point to the boot.img. This will create a Patched_Boot.Img. Note the location.
4) Flash via TWRP.
If you want more detailed instructions, see https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-install-magisk/and follow the Case 1 prompts.
I see, I haven't experienced any issues with Wi-Fi so far... Is the same thing happening with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi?@Rortiz2 I've flashed he latest build but in my case I can see a potential regression with the wifi: it keeps disconnecting after a while.
Perhaps I need to change my 5Ghz network configuration to meet the requirements for the new libwifi-hal-mt66xx?
Reverting to the old version solved the issue.
Really interested on the 15.1 but sadly I have just this tablet now and my son is using it too.
Sorry man.
