Thanks for your suggestion, I tried enabling it but I can't find any option on not on the "app" neither in "storage " settings tab which allows me to move installed apps from internal storage to micro SD card. I am new to this OS so may be I am not finding it, can u help me?

Might be how you have your SD card format. When I enabled that option it allowed me to move all the apps to the SD card on the tablets we have.

Who wants to replace trebuchet to Lawnchair Launcher? it's better and more customizable.

Since Trebuchet/Lawnchair is a system app, shouldn't it support the Pie gestures?

Does anyone have a copy of an older, working GAPPS build? I couldn’t find anything older than January on Open GAPPS’ older releases selection.

I found a working Netflix apk on apk [dot] cafe (Netflix-6.26.1_build_15_31696.apk) that works fine on my 2018 HD 8

So I saw another person complain about this and I didn't think I had the issue, but it looks like I do as well. Messenger allows me to record audio with the mic, so the mic works and permissions are good. However, when I do a video call the mic does not work. I also test this with hangouts and duplicating the same issue that when you enter into a video chat the mic doesn't work. I have a log but have tried on two PC's to upload and via my phone with no luck... lol

EDIT #2:
I was able to work around the issue by plugging headphones in.
Senario #1 - No headphones plugged in, no mic working on calls
Senario #2 - Headphones plugged in, mic works great and continues to even after headphones are unplugged (confirmed with Hangouts and Messenger that this hack-around works)

EDIT #3:
Been doing some Google searches, looks like other Lineage ROMs have seen similar issues with the Mic not working. Perhaps this will help? Let me know if I can provide any more logs.

Hi, thanks for the update. After installing, the camera fails to connect in the both the camera app and in messaging apps. Also there are random resets where the tablet will freeze for 2-3 mins and eventually show the Lineage OS boot logo as if it restarted. The wifi issues are also still there where it disconnects and reconnects or just says there's no wifi until I turn it off and on, but it seems to happen less frequently.

I tried installing it over the original version and as a clean install and the issues persist. Hopefully there's a way to fix it as it seems close to stable otherwise! Thanks for all your work.

I'm finding some issues with sound as well, but this is a little more strange:

I've been using Khan Academy Kids for my kids. The background music plays fine, but the voices of the characters don't play.

I get the popping issues in the speakers too.

Didn't experience these things on Lineage 14.

Overall, much better than 14!

While playing the sound, most of the time you can hear it not only when you speak only voice you hear it clearly and when sound stops or pauses, the noise is still there for some seconds.

Staying active does not work optimally from the wifi either, the metered (treat as unmetered) works conditionally for about half an hour it remains active in the 2.4 GHz network.

Otherwise this ROM is really good respect, thanks.

I compiled the ROM today and pulled in all the updates, it appears to be a little more responsive and I have not seen the lockups I did in the past. The camera still does not work though. For my application this is not a deal breaker, but if someone figures out a fix let me know.

I put it in airplane mode for 15 seconds, and then take it out (resetting the connection). 3 out of 4 times, this works for a while.

It's not much of a work-around, but it's the best I've come up with.

You mean when the issue happens? Cause it just reconnects for me after a bit but it's quite annoying. Currently I'm just keeping the screen on.

Maybe it's just me, but two out of three times, when I swap in and out of airplane mode, the disconnects stop for the next few hours. It's still annoying, but it's the best work-around I've been able to manage.

I suspect the wifi disconnecting is due to some kind of power management bug.
You can run (commandline as root) "iw dev wlan0 set power_save off" and it fixes the problem, for about 60 seconds and then power save turns back on.. I even went so far as to run a script in the background that runs the command every 55 seconds, but that approach seems kinda silly to recommend (though it does seem to work)
I studied some of the code a little and think I've stumbled on a better solution though:
just install the app "Wakelock Revamp - PowerManager" by darken, set the app's "Wi-Fi high performance mode," and under General config enable "Autostart on boot"

Have you considered taking up the batton and maintaining the ROM going forward? I'm sure a lot of Karnak users would be super thankful for latest patches
