was floating app support removed? It used to be a part of slim recents.

Great ROM btw!
Lrs121 graciously builds it for us from cm source because they don't have official nightlies for us yet.
Better off asking them
Besides, I don't think cm ever had slim recents, or floating app.

This is...

fantastic!! Rock solid, and snappy. Only thing is 4g does not work, but 4g never worked off of stock rom, so that's kind of a moot point. Keep up the great work, look forward to more releases. Cant wait to see Now on tap working too.

cm-13.0-20160204-UNOFFICIAL-d2spr.zip

...thanks for the upload. It seems that dirty flashing this over the cm-13.0-20160130-UNOFFICIAL-d2spr, I lose all mobile data (LTE and 3G); even with the VM apn fix.
Meh, I've reverted to my backup of the previous .zip and I'll just wait until the next one.

In any case, keep 'em comin', Lrs121.
Thanks!

I've noticed that that happens even on omnirom for the nexus 6. I think it has to do with when the new security patches come out and break things before they get fixed

I am on the VM SPH-L710, not triband. I have the NDC baseband.
Wiped /data /cache /system
flashed the 0204 CM13 ROM, Open Gapps, booted, flashed Moped Ryder's VM APN fix, rebooted, flashed 0204 CM 13 ROM again, rebooted.

Except as below with camera and phone all works very well. LTE, WiFi, BT all work no problem.

Camera worked at first, then I got "unfortunately, camera has stopped" error. Tried wiping cache and dalvik, no-go.

Bluetooth Media Audio works dandy.

Phone works fine without BT. Works very quirky with BT:
If speaking on an existing call and connect to BT mid-call then it works
If I try to dial out or if I get an incoming call while connected to BT then the phone hangs then reboots.

Not sure what to do with that info, so posting here.

Best place is in jira.cyanogenmod.org unless one of the device maintainers trawl this thread

Is the option to format the sdcard as "internal" working the way it should? When I first flashed MM, there were "issues". I'd like to switch if the bugs have been worked out. I've gotten very tired of the write restrictions to the 'external' sdcard.

Write restrictions? Every app I have writes just fine. Just have to grant them permission and use document storage technique.

The problem is that the way android now handles sdcards is poorly documented to the extreme point where itd almost be better if said documentation doesn't exist.

Things to note about sdcards and android 6:

If integrated as internal, that card is now tied to that device and cannot be accessed by itself (eg. you must use a usb connection through your phone since it is now treated as internal storage.)

going back to non-integration requires a format (best done from a pc. potentially needs a clean with diskpart in windows using an external card reader)

When made integrated it cannot be written to by itself, writing to internal is the same as writing to the sdcard.

There are more but this is what i remember right now

cm-13.0-20160209-UNOFFICIAL-d2spr.zip

...unfortunately, this one doesn't get cellular data, either. Just for kicks, I've even clean installed, too; to no avail.
Not that I'm taking this personally or anything, but is it just me?

Meh, perhaps the next update will fix it.
Keep uploading Lrs121, thanks!
(P.S., I'm aware from the OP and following posts addressing that you don't have this device, nor do you do any fixes. Regardless, I'm grateful for the uploads.)

No, I've had this happen to me several times with my nexus 6, on project fi, even with omnirom, but it seems to be more common with the qcom based s3 devices. I forgot I have an old generic s3 and if I can steal my battery back from my friend then I might be able to do some very limited debugging, since its not active.

I have my external sdcard formated as internal and it works great, except titanium backup, and solid explorer are having issues, I have to use document provider to select sdcard, then select it and the it works (mostly). Other than that it works great, especially with twrp 3.0.0 recovery to where I don't have to copy stuff into /data/media/0 to access it.

Been using this on the OH1 firmware and it's been great. Have the phone on swappa but since it hasn't sold yet I figured I might as well toy with it some more. Upgraded from using CM12.1 and so far things are running much smoother, never cared for 12.1 honestly. So while I say it's been great for me, since I have it on swappa that means I don't have service on the phone and only use it on wifi. It does show that it detects the Sprint network though, and I've not come across any real issues.

Anyways, thanks @Lrs121 for keeping this old beast going. Proving once again that the S3 just won't be written off so easily.

...ugh, I'm such a dope. I haven't done this in years, but I completely forgot the protocol to get LTE back to VM (thanks to Awesome Donkey in the AICP MM ROM thread):

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65297764&postcount=911

That was a reassuring refresher.
Suffice it to say, I'm relieved to get LTE back and this latest ROM works great.
Ugh. <Smacks palm to forehead>
