Double tap to wake is supported and can be enabled from kernel aduitor and fingerprint sensor works fine with fpc. Don't know about goodix

WARNING! STUPID QUESTION AHEAD!
I have used pixel experience, pixel reloaded and am currently using DerpFest [all android 10] for my Redmi 3s prime, and the thing I noticed, the Gcam that comes preinstalled with it (with the preinstalled GApps), that is bug free and contains most of the features ( like potrait mode, HDR+ etc) which we don't get in normal GApps we download from site.
Other android 10 Roms, like the AOSP extended, the extended UI, Lineage os 17, they don't support that GCam, they have that, basic GCam which only supports normal photography mode and lens blur, nd no potrait mode (i went to the settings, nothing's there)
Can anyone help me, e in getting the feature packed GCam, the Pixel Experience one, in the AOSP extended and Lineage OS 17, cause the GCam of Pixel Experience is not there in them, nd that what stops me mostly from trying other android 10 roms.
So, any advices in getting the Pixel Experience Gcam in other android 10 based roms for redmi 3s prime?
p.s. I have tried enabling Camera2API, nothing worked.

You have to change some settings in gcam. I have attached some screenshots to help u. Ping me if u have any doubts

actually, the settings in the GCam that comes with the Gapps in lineage os or other android 10 based roms, it does not contain these settings, just the basic ones, like resolution, nd nothing like these. I tell you, the GCam that comes with Gapps is the most basic one, it isn't what u just sent here

I'm on lineage os 17.1. The default inbuilt camera in this rom is Snapdragon camera. U have to install gcam seperately. Try installing gcam from below link and change the settings to what I've shown above.

Did u install it too in lineage os? or you got it from gapps?
also, will this version work on AOSP extended [android 10]

It works on any rom for our device. I'm using it on this rom right now.
I don't have b/w image with front camera. Although it shows b/w in viewfinder, the end photo will be in color

Is it mandatory to wipe data? Usually not.. I didn't and after install, when I'm adding my password at boot, I'm told it's wrong.. encryption not supported? Not mentioned in op.. Please tell me.
Wiping data (or formatting data is recommended) is very important before installing a rom. If ur updating to latest build from previous build of same rom, then wiping data is not necessary.
I installed the rom & it's good but face unlock is gone.. How to bring it back? There must be a way. Otherwise, about encryption, if i re-do it now, i guess it'll be ok for this rom (?) but how about i get back to Pie..? Need to wipe internal storage again? Not good, never ever had to do it while jumping between Android versions up until today with this Q!
