No, you are right, but I think I will reinstall the version without magisk because I'm having gps problems with it.
I read in the post of the version 11 that it's a known bug, I will check it that is the case in version 10 as well.

Also I'm having a boot loop everytime I allow the sd card to be used as internal.

Do not use sd card to be used as internal storage just yet cause it was giving me bootloops to !

Gps solved: I don't know exactly, just made a clean reinstall and now it's working.
Micro SD: As pointed, don't use it as internal or bootloop.
Google Maps: Works without the google environment. I prefer to not use google services.

I'm going to use this phone as my daily driver, it's super great!!

Anyone experiencing the same issue? (and perhaps found a solution to it? )

I've just same troubles with camera. It's not able to scan QR codes in APPs.

I use S2 as daily phone and it works quite good.

Sometimes happens that call services are immediatelly out of service. Phone need to be reseted. I might have sick SIM socket.

I installed normally and prior to installing Gapps the phone was super fast. Unfortunately, after installing pico Gapps it lags severely.

What is everyone doing and i haven't read a single comment on this ? What Gapps are you using ?

Hi guys, I've been trying to fix this for 3 days... I've tried several Android 9 and 10 Roms but due to excessive battery drain I'm forced to downgrade to Android 6.0 MM for now. The problem is that I cannot revert the internal memory to its original state, the explorer does not recognize it and it only shows me an sd of 7.97MB. I have put Base, PIT 3GB and tried formatting everything with TWRP 2.8.7, 3.0.0 (CM), 3.0.2.1. 3.1, 3.2.3..... without success. Same process with Philtz 6.48 before flash Rom. Please can someone enlighten me...?

If everything fails, try restoring the last Samsung official ROM, after tris you should have proper spacing. Of course, you have to redo all the steps in order to put again a custom ROM

If I put Samsung base and start the system everything is correct, at the moment that I put modified recovery for example Philz or TWRP 2.8.7 and install a Custom Rom (MM for example), when starting the system I lose the reading of the internal memory and it still comes out as emulated storage, and of course, I can't download anything because it only recognizes 7.8mb of space on SD. There must be a way to revert the partition of the internal SD but I am not able to find the solution for more than searching and trying.

Thanks for the help, I'm going to try again to put original base by Odin, I'll put Philz, I'll format everything as usual and flash ROM MM, to see what happens. Thanks.

hi, im not able to use any vpn app on this rom, is there any fix for it? the key appears on top but vpn apps fail to connect or transmit any data, all vpn apps have this issue, other phone on same networks with stock samsung rom connects with no issue

About speed. I found Android 10 to work quicker. I think it's because that version still supports legacy storage access framework which I think was discontinued in Android 11.

As many experienced, GApps is IMHO a NO GO on our S2, because it is slowing down the phone drastically (I tried bitGApps on L19.1). On 19.1, I also found that disabling the battery manager helped to make it snappier.

I am considering a donwgrade from LineageOS 19.1 to 17.1, hoping Android 10 would be a bit faster than 12.

Since my S2 has TWRP 3.6.1, and another pit applied (for 19.1), can I just flash the 17.1 ROM without downgrading TWRP and changing the partitions sizes?

EDIT: I reply myself: yes, a simple wipe and install worked with TWRP 3.6.1 at the base and the partition sizing of L19.1. Indeed, Android 10 feels smoother and faster.

As listed in the FP, sensors are also working fine on 17.1 but not on 19.1 so another reason to use 17.1
PowerHAL is also listed as 'working' on 17.1 but not on 19.1, it probably helps for better performance and battery management.
Some mentioned a battery drain with SIM card on 17.1. Wonder if it is better with 18 or 19.1.

I am trying to find out which version is best for an occasional use.
From my first hour with 17.1, I would say 17.1 (2021-03) is much better than 19.1 (2022-06).
Any other opinions?
