FOD is broken. It worked at first when I clean flashed LOS 17. Even have AOD off. Just rescanned my fingers again. Not a single recognition, eather from lockscreen or biometric authentication for apps.
Also reflashed the Rom (to replace the custom kernel) didn't helped.
Global MI 9T Pro with MIUI11 global fw & vendor
Have you searched the thread? Format data after setting up everything.

if I format data after setting it up, then I have to set it up again. It makes no sense.

And I did a full clean flash with Los 17, including /data format. Then it worked the first day. And then it stopped working
Listen I get it, you're frustrated a.s.o. but it won't help you to ignore what I said. There were several people (me included and yeah, I agree that it doesn't make much sense) with your exact problem and we got it solved by doing what I told you. Now, how about you search this thread for FPS (should yield quite some results) and start reading up on how to resolve YOUR issue.

And remember that selinux has to remain in permissive mode.

I even did format data couple of times after flashing LOS)(because of the work of my app debloater script) So what you did, does not yield results on my device. And it should not, logically seen.

That's all fine and dandy.

What I did was this:

- Wipe everything
- Flash Vendor/FW (global)
- Flash LOS build
- Flash gapps
- Flash Magisk
- Format Data
- Reboot and say hello to a stable LOS build.

This worked for me and apparently a few others.
But I'll leave it at that, YMMV and I'm fine with that.

Guys pls calm down lol. I don't know why FPS works for some people and for some it doesn't work. It has to many factors. But format data wont fix that. Maybe it just was coincidence.
I have tested a lot of roms and also tried a lot to get fps to work...
Sometimes it helps if you delete your fingers and set them up new. You can also play with the brightness when register them.
Display glass protector could be a problem.
I have a thin plastic foil only and its working great with it! Some people reported FPS worked better after removing glass protector.

And yeah some roms have just bad FPS support.

Battery icon settings don't work. It always shows default icon and can't be turned off or changed to circle, only adding text percent next to it works

And settings crash if you try to open Expanded desktop settings

Yeah I rescanned them couple of times. The strange point here is not that it's not as good as MIUI, i know this from other roms.

The strange thing is that it worked really good on the first day. Better then on my previous Rom Evo x 10. And now it does work 0%

Hmm... Im not sure about that issue. I heard a lot about it but never faced it myself. Try to clean your finger even if you think it's clean. Helped some people too.
I'm on EvoX now and my FPS works great as in miui so there is no reason for me to change now. I can't say how it's working on LOS with latest update.

I'm currently still on stock, unsure if its worth doing the switch to LOS yet.
What are the main issues in the latest build of this LOS ROM, apart from the FPS that seems to not work reliably?
Is it stable enough to be used as a daily driver already?
Should I wait a few more builds before doing the switch?

I have not used miui 11 for long, but what I have experienced was not 100% stable. I would say it's usable since I am using it the whole time. But also because I hate miui

Ok guys, I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm following exactly the instructions and this is not my first phone with a custom rom. Reboot to system always ends in fastboot or revocery. Pls help.
This is what I've tried:

0. (Coming from xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK20ProMI9TPro_V11.0.4.0.QFKCNXM_v11-10, encrypted)
1. Reboot to TWRP 3.3.1-13
2. Wipe Dalvik/Art cache, cache, system, data
3. Flash vendor/firmware (tried both versions in different attempts and also tried leaving vendor from xiaomi.eu-version), model is: M1903F11G
3. a) RAPHAELEEAGlobal-V11.0.3.0.QFKEUXM-10.0-vendor-firmware
3. b) RAPHAELGlobal-V11.0.1.0.QFKMIXM-10.0-vendor-firmware
4. Flash lineage-17.0-20191209-UNOFFICIAL-raphael
5. Flash open_gapps-arm64-10.0-micro-20190928-BETA
6. Reboot --> bootloader

Which TWRP are you using exactly? Try TWRP-3.3.1.22-raphael-mauronofrio which is the one I used without problems. Also perhaps give it a reboot before installing gapps to see if the problem comes from there

I installed the ROM last weekend, been using it for 4 days. Everything seems to work fine and no random reboots so far.
I also came from stock ROM, Chinese version.

Formated data,cache, davilk, system, vendor
Installed firmware+vendor from first post
Installed LOS
Install gapps nano
Formated data
Reboot to ROM

Hey! If I wan't keep encryption at my Lineage OS 17, it only stay at boot loop, until I install DFE-script at TWRP.

Is there any way to keep encryption on, without needs run that script and don't stay at bootloop?

to remove encryption - flash DFE, reboot from twrp in twrp and format data-yes
return encryption - flash vendor+firmware, reboot from twrp in twrp and format data-yes

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.
