[ROM] [UNOFFICIAL] [10.0] [pyxis] Pixel Experience [MAY SECURITY PATCH]

Search This thread
My favourite ROM that was installed in my previous device (Redmi Note 4 mido) for 1 and a half year! Thank you very much!!! So, i installed it this evening and it works great. Speaking about the fingerprint scanner, it's maybe a bit slower than the miui rom, just make sure that it is calibrated correctly.

Finally about the safety net check, mine failed in cts profile but when i used Magisk hide and hid it from play store and Google services framework, the value changed to true.

Yes it does have a faceunlock. And the camera app is the worst. I don't even know what's that application but it's so simple and bad. The reason that I switched from PE is camera application.

Could you please share?
Dunno if my procedures are perfect, but at least they seemed to be working.
1. Flash latest TWRP into recovery and boot into it right afterwards.
2. Factory reset and format data partition.
3. Sideload the package to the device from PC.
4. Reboot then return to install Magisk after init.
(After these I hid Magisk from Google stuff to get cts pass according to a previous post, then cleared Google Play data to display device certified.)
Hope these help! :)

I have checked that in 4PDA you are now redirected to XDA, and they have removed the instructions.
In the end, I have collected information from various sites, and this is what I did, i coming from Miui (now I only update the Rom).
1. Download ROM,
2. Download the latest firmware.
3. Start TWRP by pressing the Power button and Volume up at the same time.
4. Clear the FORMAT DATA with "YES" if you are changing from MIUI (or Custom Rom).
5. Then: WIPE Dalvik, Cache, System, Vendor, Data, internal storage.
6. Firmware installation.
7. ROM installation, Magisk (optional) (You can do it from the Brigudav Recovery itself).
8. Reboot and you're done!.
9. When you reboot and configure the phone, do not put any password or pin or fingerprint or anything, but then it will not work. It will be on when that initial setup is done.

WHEN CONNECTING WIFI, put ADVANCED OPTIONS, and use MAC DEVICE (by default the random mac appears and does not connect because of that).

Update:

1. WIPE cache, Dalvik.
2. Install new firmware and ROM.
3. WIPE cache, Dalvik.
4. (AS THE ROOT-MAGISK IS LOST, YOU CAN INSTALL IT AFTER THE ROM) Reboot.
5. Wipe Caché, Dalvik.
6. Reboot.

Was encryption enabled on crdroid? Which recovery are you using?

I got it working by first going back to the original MIUI rom and after that flashing PE.
Encryption was enabled and was using the latest TWRP found here: [RECOVERY][3.3.1-3][pyxis/vela]Official/Unofficial TWRP Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite/CC 9(Stable)

Thanks for the replies guys. Finally got it working :D

I'm on FW 20.3.26 and my screen lock isn't functional. It crashes in the initial setup wizard. I went ahead and completed the setup and tried to change it from the settings.

Which dev FW are you using? 20.3.26 should be the latest.

Try to go in TWRP format data then reboot recovery and wipe everything...after this flash last dev firmware and latest PE Rom and reboot

---------- Post added at 07:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:22 AM ----------

-The fingerprint reader is slow, compared to miui rom.
-The camera is bad, they should include Gcam (although it can be installed separately but it would be nice that it would already be included), as is the version of Redmi note 7
    -Facial unlock already worked perfectly

    I answer you by point:
1 fingerprint: the dev know this and in every rom try to make better to solve this problem
2 every PE rom for every device not include a Gcam...in this device for working Gcam we need a bufferfix and we flash separately
3 use a face unlock if you are annoying by FOD
This is a unofficial ROM in this moment and the dev @coderzs every day working hard to fix this problem...take a time and everything is fixed ?
