[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][10.0][TB-X704F/L] LineageOS 17.1 for Lenovo Tab4 10 Plus

Hi.
Can somebody help me with rotation glitch on lineage 17.1 (20201220.163800)
Seems like it needs to be tilted right to have faced down... (and clockwise rule)
Is there some fix?

Ok... after i installed Gapps it was fixed...

lineage17.1 is the most stable version the previous ones were freezing and locking. yes that's it, it doesn't freeze anymore etc. Thank youuuu


For game lovers, I suggest you to update the GPU driver. xda adreno 500 series opengl & vulkan.

gpu driver v.5.5 gpu [email protected] vulkan 1.1.128. Twrp flash

I recomend magnetar KİLO to Magisk users. heavy games crash on tablet without this module.

I recommend magisk swap torpedo module for those who want to turn off zram , you can find it on xda. If you don't like games , you don't need it.

dark mod is very nice, thank you to everyone who contributed.

other 17.1 is were freezing or tablet was turning off and on.

I just uploaded a new build that includes the June 2021 security patches to AndroidFileHost. It should be possible to dirty flash the ROM over the existing LOS 17.1 build from codeworkx or me - at least this is what I did successfully.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. HOW TO INSTALL LINEAGEOS
- Upgrade to latest available official firmware
- Upgrade to latest available TWRP
- Download the LineageOS zip(s). (see Downloads)
- Copy the LineageOS zip to internal sdcard.
- Unlock bootloader and install TWRP.
- Boot into TWRP.
- Perform a backup of your current ROM. (Optional)
- RECOMMENDED: Do a factory reset! No support if you didn't!
- Flash LineageOS.
- Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package. (see Downloads)
- Reboot

TWRP error 7 normally indicates that your device is not compatible with the ROM file you are trying to install. So best check if you really picked the correct file and whether your device is compatible with the ROM files in this thread.

From the first version OP started this thread and posted his version of this ROM I had an issue with using the gmail app and configuring my ActiveSync email with a self signed certificate on my mail server. Gmail would crash every time it would load the mail. Since you started uploading your builds the Gmail app just works.

Glad I could help . In the end most of the work for the ROM was done by others, like XDA member codeworkx and the LineageOS team, and I just built their code.

Just did a clean install works great! The only thing that doesn't work is connecting my Go Plus (pokemon go BT peripheral) while the Gotcha (unofficial version of the Go Plus) connects without a problem. I keep getting pairing errors on the Go Plus even after using magisk hide. Anyone else run into this problem? All BT devices worked without a problem in LineageOS 16.0.

I found this old Reddit thread where problems with the Go Plus for someone with the Tab 4 10 Plus were discussed. There are a couple of suggestions in that thread, but none of them worked for the thread poster. It seems like Go Plus wants to make sure it does not get used on unlocked or rooted devices. Normally Magisk hide should then be the way to go, but it seems it does not always work for this device. Can't help you any further, sorry.

Hello all . I've recently started having issues with my tab not being able to see any Google cast devices. All other phones and tabs can just this one that can't. I've tried clearing caches and clean installs with full wipes. Can anyone give me a clue on what to do

Thanks for the link, sadly this didn't help me connecting the Go Plus. I keep getting an error message "Couldn't pair ... because of an incorrect PIN or passkey". Thankfully the Gotcha device still works so I'll just stick to using that.

Sorry, but the TB-8704(f) is a different device which needs a somewhat different LOS build. There is a separate thread here in the forums for that 8" device. Best check there if up-to-date builds are available.

I'd like to flash this rom. My tablet is TB-X704F. Is this rom built for this model? I don't know the difference between the TB-X704F and TB-X704L models, but I don't want to end up flashing the wrong file. Thanks for building in any case.
