Sorry for the late reply. Hard to tell whether this is an LOS issue. Does it work on any non-LOS Android smartphone that you might have or have had? Or perhaps it's a browser issue. Don't know whether the browser you're using on LOS is different from that one you're using on your PC, or is it both C

Regarding my link issue:
My Xiaomi smartphone is running on LineageOS 18.1, and it just fails to connect me with the content of exactly the same “special” links where my Lenovo Tab with LineageOS 17.1 always fails. The picture shows one example.
So there seems to be a general Lineage problem or an incompatibility of Lineage with some special links?
Happy new year,
and thank you for the brand new built and the hint regarding the browser: Indeed it is the Lineage OS Jelly Browser which fails to connect with some links with which Chrome or Firefox (both working on Lineage base, too) have no problems :)

@Ecthelion4 If you're interested in maintenance the monthly security patche for the LOS 18.1 (A11) ROM, you can pull a request to do so as the Dev. had stated in his post. Please check out the link below.
The LOS 18.1 ROM is stable for the Tab4 10 plus, tb-x 704F/A. I have this ROM installed in my tb-x 704A since it releases.
We would appreciate if you consider to maintenance this ROM.

Yeah, I saw that posting already. The thing is that I also got a new Android tablet already and will soon sell my Tab4 10 Plus. So there's no point in me taking over the builds for the 18.1 codeline. Sorry

Hi,

I just uploaded a new build that includes the February 2023 security patches to AndroidFileHost. It should be possible to dirty flash the ROM over the existing LOS 17.1 build from codeworkx or me, which I again did successfully.

    LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     *

    Here we go again, after building LOS 17.1 last weekend, it's LOS 18.1 this weekend. Thinking back, Lenovo didn't release a single major update for this device.

    From very brief testing, I can say that the camera and fingerprint scanner do not work. I will test the new OS in detail in the next few days and then create a separate thread soon.
