The DPI Changer... Is it the same as running the following? Many Thanks, @8224Freak
T800: Only used for media/browsing and mucking about.
Installed without issue, Twrp wipe, Pico and Magisk.
Wifi 5Ghz, and BT pairing. All good. (Headphones)
Video playback in Brave and Kiwi browser, working.
Battery life is excellent with no significant drains.
Music player/Eq, camera, torch, location, airplane mode, battery saver and settings all work.
Rom feels fluid and problem-free. for me.
Works right out of the box. (3 days of testing without mishap)
Breathed new life into my forgotten tablet.
Outstanding work!
Thanks again.
Update: Reduced the screen resolution to 1920x1200 and DPI to 240 as suggested by @Ledah
Positive impact on performance.
App: Easy DPI changer.
Thanks.
I haven't done any extensive testing, just light to medium use.The DPI Changer... Is it the same as running the following?
adb shell wm size 1920x1200
adb shell wm density 240
adb shell reboot
(an option is to try 1280x800 160 - looks a bit washed out in GUI)
The original values are 2560x1600 and 320 (in case one needs to restore the settings). These can be read by running
adb shell dumpsys display | grep mBaseDisplayInfo
Have you checked playback of videos extensively? What I saw when trying this ROM a while ago was that the videos were played, but frequently the scaling of the video was changing, so it became "zoomed" on the left part of it. Could you please test this with youtube videos played in Brave or any other browser?
If setting up the lower resolution helps, then it is time to celebrate!
You might want to pull your head in!Why u not answering on 4g not working? SM-T805. Even IR remote not working.
Find the TWRP of the .img extension (not the .tar)Didn't find a better matching thread - hope it's not off-topic
I'm stuck with combination file on my T705 I got from https://samsungcombinationfile.com/flash-samsung-combination-firmware
COMBINATION_OXA_FA44_T705XXU1AOC1_OXA_1725373_REV00_user_mid_noship.tar.md5
I flashed it, using Odin3_v3.14.4 , but there's no working recovery-mode.
Since I flashed that only flashing this leads to "PASS",
other flashing attempts with odin lead to "FAIL" - tried
SM-T705_NEE_T705XXU1CPH3_T705NEE1CPH4_T705XXU1CPH3_T705XXU1CPH3
twrp-3.6.1_9-0-klimtlte.img.tar
SM-T705_1_20161226141339_4b12u2bjgf
(I tried this because I didn't get OEM UNLOCK neither after several attempts with date-tweak nor after waiting for more than 2 weeks)
I'd be grateful for help.
Try Heimdall instead of Odin, like described in the old LineageOS wiki:Thank you very much - you helped me out of THIS trap!
Now I got a new problem I haven't experienced yet
twrp-3.6.1_9-0-klimtlte could't install - Failed to mount "/hidden". I found one old thread from 2018 that ended without solution.
So I'm stuck again at another stage :-(
Odin couldn't install T705XXU1CPH3_T705NEE1CPH4_T705XXU1CPH3_HOME.tar.md5 as well - FAIL (last message "cache.img")
Complete(Write) operation failed.
Odin still only capable of installing Combination file
Reminds me of the film "Groundhog Day" "Und täglich grüßt das Murmeltier" in german![]()
This is the biggest problem in my opinion.Greetings! Does anyone know how to restore the operation of LTE networks on t705? A very good assembly, but without mobile data, the tablet is castrated somehow. Its most important functional does not work.
You can request, however the developer has not been since April, so maybe wait a while. This is the biggest problem in my opinion.
I do not understand why the author of the topic does not indicate in the first message that LTE data does not work so far !!!
To fix most internet related problems such as video playback errors on live tv websites etc update webview to build : Android System WebView_v102.0.5005.78 maybe developers can also do that in the next build , The Rom is working very good now. I will release a review on my channel today and show this rom fixed.
Yup I did , but it's outdated and not that good as this rom , after updating to webview Android System WebView_v102.0.5005.78Tried this?[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][10] LineageOS 17.1 for Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 WiFi (SM-T800 - chagallwifi)
