Also how can I keep my screen LCD on Dynamic at all times? When I reboot my device, the LCD goes back to a yellowish reading type display

Anyone figure out how to enable the IR Blaster (on SM-T800 and LOS 17.1)? Trying to build a Home Assistant-based remote with support for IR and wifi devices. I saw some old posts stating the IR blaster wasn't working and unsure if it was ever addressed.

That I'm not sure. I didn't see any built-in setting for such. Sounds like a more general LineageOS issue, though, so you might get more help asking on their forums, or if they have a Discord you could ask there as well.

I wouldn't call it an issue at all. The idea of LineageOS is to keep as close to Vanilla Android as any possible. Hence you wouldn't find any customisation apart from those available in pure Android as well.

Maybe it is possible to make the best of both + "SELinux enforced" for daily use

IR blaster is working in my build LOS 17.1 on SM-T805
Apparently the build will run on T800 if you mod the device check in the install script, might be worth a try

I use my t800 infrequently and got tired of the absurdly laggy Samsung 6.0 experience.

Running this ROM almost feels like buying a new device, far smoother and it looks gorgeous. A few minor bugs here and there but for a ROM generously supporting a 9 year old device, I am very very happy the dev released this.

Netflix and Disney plus disappeared from the play store so I installed magisk delta and the liboemcrypto module and now we're back in business.

Have the Galaxy Tab s 8.4 running on samsung stock. It is super laggy. I cant see anything equivalent on the market with the amoled screen. So wonder if it is worth updating with this rom. I never rooted an android device bug i assume is manageable. Will the app work after? Does this rom make the device faster?
