Okay so I played around with stuff a bit, the tablet is running smoother and snappier now. And much much cooler. Hope this helps everyone.

I am using smartpack kernel manager
Here are the settings I am using
1. CPU max frequency 1700 (1800 makes it run too hot, might go down to 1600 if 1700 still runs hot). Min 100hz (apply on boot)
2. Governor at interactive
3. Target loads at 75 600000:75 800000:85 1500000:90 1700000:95
4. Multi-core power saving enabled
5. CPU boost enabled
6. Kernal samepage off and disabled on boot
7. Low memory killer off and disabled on boot (Low memory killer has to be disabled on every device reboot from the app)
8. Z-ram 4096 and lz4 compression. Might try lzo later. (apply on boot)
9. Virtual memory turntable on
10. Entroy enabled on boot and read 256 and write 512
11. Battery enabled on boot and charging option on
12. IO scheduled disabled on boot

if anyone improves on these settings please update on this thread. We would all appreciate it.

Hello there. With deathly it is possible to undervolt as well. I with -45mV and a piece of scrap metal in top of the soc with thermal paste I can run at 1800MHz on LOS 14. I'm still reading through the various pages of the thread to see if deadly is available for this rom before installing. Also kudos for enabling the fingerprint because it has always been disabled in custom roms.

ah crap seem my baseband is not latest, i will flash latest stock and try this custom rom again
update : now A15 is already enabled and can be switchable with A7

I was wondering wether it was possible to enable all 8 cores at the same time for this device. It is possible on other devices with the same SOC but discouraged on Tab S (both 8.4 and 10.5) due to poor cooling. Now I am planning to hard mod the battery to have double or triple capacity, at that point since i need to cut open the back anyway I might just as well improve the cooling system and push the SOC to the limit.

after i searching a lot, our cpu 5420 is b.L which is big.LITTLE 4 cores 2 clusters so me or our dev can't enable that for 8 cores in the same time but it can switch the cpu task for heavy jobs between big and LITTLE

Great work been away. Will give it a full try tonight. So far causes the tablet to slow down significantly also the display flickers.
I will try to patch RAM, LMK and ZRAM, anyway please try this first update for klimtlte temporaly with GPU and CPU patched

This one is much better tablet is much snappier.

What are the GPU and CPU limits that you have patched in? I think maybe you undervolted the CPU too much in the last patch.
Also the patch killed root. Will have to re-root it. But that's not a big deal.

I adjust min max value and change some parameter of GPU make more smooth, from LOS 14.1 I can undervoltage upto -37.5 mV so I'm adapted to 17.1 too, that's make my tab S good in CPU temp, for about root you can patch it with magisk before flash by TWRP

So far the boot patch seems to be running smoothly. Battery drain seems to be okay.

Magisk cannot be applied because flashing the boot image over magisk makes it un-rooted

Disclaimer: English is NOT my first language. If any part appears to be ambiguous, or redundant, please let me know!

    1. Stability :
Well, screw what I said before :(
I've been too foolish to conclude with just ebook reading and Netflix.
I get random app crashes (disappearing) - from browser, to Google News, and even ... a file manager. But once you reload the app, it seems to behave as expected.
o_O Small annoyance:I am asked to choose what to do with my SD card (integrated storage or removable) and either choice forces you to format your card before any app can access it!!!
    It's been great.
    I don't use GApps, I use MicroG.
Initially, I got quite a bit of random app "disappearances" (they crashed but with no force close message or anything like that). What I got was "Google service stopped working".
    Solution (or so I think):
    1. I flashed masdaster's boot.img - the one with many CPU governors to choose from. Not sure if he's released any newer ones.
    2. And I use Smartpack kernel manager to set a few things, these were suggested in a post somewhere like page 15-18. I can't remember who posted but they work really well.
    Here's the SmartPack config:
[I use 1600] CPU max frequency 1700 (1800 makes it run too hot, might go down to 1600 if 1700 still runs hot). Min 100hz (apply on boot)
    Governor at interactive
[I don't use this line, just leave it as "stock"] Target loads at 75 600000:75 800000:85 1500000:90 1700000:95
    Multi-core power saving enabled
    CPU boost enabled
Kernal samepage off and disabled on boot
Low memory killer off and disabled on boot (Low memory killer has to be disabled on very device reboot from the app)
Z-ram 4096 and lz4 compression. Might try lzo later. (apply on boot)
    Virtual memory turntable on

    2. Smoothness:
Overall, this Android 10 mod IS AS SMOOTH AS I'D EXPECT FROM A GOOD MODERN MID-RANGE TABLET.
I think this thing is running on something like eMMC 5.0 or so, just before Ss made the jump to UFS 2.1. Couple that with an ancient memory sub-system (not to mention that this has been a traditionally weak area for Samsung), this level of responsiveness and smooth animation is really beyond imagination.
Who would have thought Android 10 would run better on this dinosaur than all the "lag fix" Android 7 and 6 modded ROMs before that?!

    3. Feature suggestion:
I would like to see "spoofing device fingerprint" based on "universal safetynet fix" to pass CTS check. If this is made possible, Netflix HD might happen!
The fix is only for ARMv8 64 bit so it cannot be flashed on our Tab Ses.
However, the developer said on their GitHub page that it should be baked into the ROM but they have made it as a flashable magisk module for other people to use with their ROM of choice.
I am NOT a developer. I know nothing about coding. I can only follow instructions (and to some extent, understand some of those instructions). So please excuse me if I happen to suggest something unfeasible.
    4. Last question: are we still using 8224Freak's original rom from post #1 or has there been another update (since 5th May)? Or has someone taken over?

Again, English is NOT my native tongue so if there's any part that makes absolutely no sense, please let me know.

^from what I've read, yes, we're still on the 5-May ROM with some of the wizards here trying to improve on it for most devices via the kernel

I've successfully ported ISoreo's modifications to the SM-T805 chagalllte. My device is booting up fine and the system runs snappier. Apps are loading 'fast' and the animations are smoother (no stuttering). Thank you very much @ISoreo!!

The only modifications I didn't apply are all the governors ISoreo added. At the moment the default is ondemand which is the same as the default one of ISoreo's boot.img. If someone is missing them, I will add them in the future.

On the unmodified lineage 17 rom I have experienced some instability so far. Other than being somewhat laggy, sometimes it will do the reboot thing, but it is not as catastrophic as it is with masdaster's kernel. Sometimes background processes will crash, like VPNs for example. One thing I have noticed is that the reboots don't take as long as a normal user initiated reboot.
There is also a problem with extremely slow charging.

Might be going back to 14 soon.
    Regarding the reboots:
Do you see the device splash screen or the boot animation after it crashes?

I tried to track it down... This takes some time and I'm not that good in debugging low level code. I've read through huge parts of your log and maybe I found a clue. I'll try to disable some memory optimizations. Your crashes seem to be memory related (YouTube and system).
    2
    let's try adb logcat -b all -v time > log.txt
    it's should take more detail
update : his log too difficult to read but

    [07-25 12:42:09.668 3252:14283 I/Telecom]
PhoneAccountRegistrar: getSimCallManager: SimCallManager for subId 1 queried, returning: null: [email protected]
Thank you! I have excluded too many rows. xD

    One other thing:
I've extracted Deathly Adiutor from LineageOS 14.1 because I could not find it anywhere. If someone needs it, here it is. All visible features are working with modified boot.img as far as I can see.
    1
Can you list the changes you have made - and will you do them for t805 as well? :)
I am not sure i can do it or not because most of all on sm-t805 they cant booting up, they told me it freeze on boot screen, mine on sm-t705 that one freeze too but take sometime to booting up around 5-7 seconds

Edited : I got these value from LOS 14.1 might be useful a lot

Could you tell where I can change it? I can't see it in display settings.
In the other hand, Does anyone has impression that the device is running very slowly? What can help to change it? Kernel change?

I did complete wipe from TRWP all settings, cache, internal storage and other stuff.
    I've got SM-T800

    Cheers
    you can use ADB

update for klimtlte : patched gpu up to 600 MHz from 533 MHz should be more smooth, add more cpu governors, i am trying to figure out about our ZRAM and lowmemorykiller how i can fix this problem
