I'm having some issues with whatsapp audios, when sending, no audio is recorded (all privileges granted), when listening to audios, audio always sounds through external speaker, even close to my head

Anyone from Portugal has been able to work with bank app "activobank" with this rom. Tought it was a magisk problem, mas even after uninstalling magisk cant get the app to work. Perphaps a unlocked bootloader issue?

I am trying to downgrade from 18 to 17.1 beacause of video and microphone issues in 18. But I just can't get the newest 17.1 to work. I install with TWRP 3.6.2 (Berni's self build), and before installing I wipe caches and data. I have tried installin just the 17.1 or with gapps (no difference). When first loading the Andoid it reboots to TWRP when I should select language etc. with message "Factory data reset, Restarting...". Any suggestions what could be the problem?

I think you may need to format the data partition in TWRP rather than just wipe it. I switch between android versions quite frequently on some of my devices (when testing different ROMs), and if I don't format data, then I see the symptoms you describe

Really? I've never formatted /data! I'm always wiping it in "Advanced wipe"...
That works every time.

At least for this time it really helped.

But too bad the downgrade to 17.1 did not solve the low microphone gain problem. The other participant can still just barely hear my voice on whatsapp and messenger video calls.

Sorry to still bother about the mic volume thing, but seems that it is low on every app (tried at least four). And it occurs in video calls where you're supposed to speak further away from the phone. On voice calls with the phone on your ear there's no problem.
Could it still be some issue on these ROMs? On the OEM Sony Android 7 ROM this problem did not occur.

The audio stuff is very complicated. I've tried a lot of things and there is no way to meet all needs.
Feel free to "play with" the file "/system/vendor/etc/mixer_paths.xml". That's the file where all audio settings are defined.

This is admittedly a bit off topic, but I am running out of ideas:
During long distance bike rides, I used to charge my Z5C using my bike's dynamo hub via a special circuit (www.forumslader.de). This has worked flawlessly for years, and I had no problems keeping the phone's battery completely charged. This year, the charger barely manages to prevent the battery from discharging, while OsmAnd is running with the screen switched off except for turning instructions; to save power, I always have the phone switched to airplane mode. The phone is very slowly charged when I keep the screen turned completely off for hours, which is not useful, as I need Osmand for navigation.
I have measured voltages from the charger, which are in the normal range, the phone's battery is in good shape, and I have not had any
issues with the battery's endurance.
It just occurred to me that the only change to last year is an upgrade to LineageOS 17.1 (coming from 15, if I remember correctly). I installed Advanced Charging Controller (ACCA), trying to limit the maximum charging current to various levels under the asumption that fast charge mode would request to much power from the dynamo, but to no avail.
Tomorrow is going to be my last day with internet access, so I cannot risk any major updates or flash a new ROM, but I was hoping that people might suggest any tweaks or settings I could try with the existing ROM, or maybe Berni would know if there are any changes to charge management in comparison to older ROMs.

Yes. There have been many changes in the kernel regarding charge management.
But unfortunately I can't say if they may produce such side effects.
