Hi @TeamMex

Excellent ROM!

One problem: No Ear speaker on calls

The speakerphone speaker is invoked, therefore "private" call can not be made without a headset. When invoking "speakerphone," the same speaker is used (although perhaps a little louder).

This is on miatoll (joyuese, specifically -- tried on 2 different units)

This issue seems to be plaguing a lot of ROMs based/derived from AOSP 11 / LOS 18.x

Please see my post in the LOS18.1 thread for the comparison "research" I undertook yesterday and today.

I hope you can address this soon.

Please advise if there is anything I can do to help (testing, for example -- I am not an Android developer).

Hello,

I've got a joyeuse device and had the latest MIUI 12 installed. I've unlocked bootloader and installed TWRP / OrangeFox recovery. Now I'm trying to install CarbonROM and NikGapps. Unfortunately, after flashing Carbon ROM, I am told that there is not sufficient space to install GApps.

In TWRP / Orange Fox there is no option to resize the /system partition so I am fully stuck in the installation process. Does anybody have a suggestion how I can install the Gapps after Carbon ROM?

Thanks a lot for your great work!

Hello, is the system being actively developed? I see there has been only one update since February. I would like to use it, but that scares me a bit.

Or otherwise, maybe I can support the project and build and release the image myself?

    Support:
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:

    1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has addressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
    2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
    3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
    4) Join our Discord server and Telegram chat! There, you can connect with other Carbon users and our developers, and you can get quick responses to your bug reports. The invite link is right below.
