Is 3G working for anyone?

I get 2G and 4G only. If I force my phone to use 3G it says there is no signal.

To be honest I don't really have time for one, but can try. Can't promise anything.
Actually, it is more time consuming as I don't have enough space to have the entire lineage os source and the microg source at the same time. Thus any time I needed to build one or the other, I need to wipe everything and download it back and that is a pain and quiet time consuming. But you motivated me to buy more hard drives and I shoudl now have enough space and thus it should be easy and faster to build it. No promises, but it just became more real :D

That's great!! I'll be patiently waiting, then :giggle: Thanks for all your hard work

Hi, @reujea0 thank you for the great work and time you invest in this project.

I like to flash the ROM on my device, however in the first post under Installation the link under point two (2)
"Download LinkBoi00's version of TWRP here"
is broken, or to be precise, it says that the file has been deleted.

Is there another place I can download TWRP for the Mi A2 LITE from?

Worked well and I'm writing this from my MiA2LITE. Thanks for the ROM! great work!

Another question, did anyone lock the bootloader again after installation?

I read on redit that Xiaomi devices can be recovered if things go south..
https://www.reddit.com/r/LineageOS/comments/99hnap
Or do you highly discourage it?
I would recommend agaisnt, maybe you could unlock it again and then it would work, at worst completly beick your device. The bootlaoder has one job and that is to valdiate that only software by Xiaomi runs, so no custom rom will work with a locked bootloader.

I don't really see a reason to have an unlocked bootlaoder. You could argue security, but anyone with physical access can unlock it too... If it is the ugly warning that you see, there was a guide on the Mi A2 Lite forum to change that

After installing this rom and GAPPS pico 11 arm64 and starting the phone for the first time, an OPEN GAPPS error init phone appears, do you know if it is important and if it can be solved in some way? I have cleared the cache and format factory, but it did not work.
Could you be more spcific, maybe some screenshots

Reujea0 sir, any intentions for LOS19?
Not really, I most likely won't have the time to built it. But another dev that I know is working on it, when it is finished he will publish it.

This ROM is brilliant, thanks dev

    I have a quick question:

How do we update the ROM?

An "update available" appears in the settings menu, but wheh I hit install, it looks like its going to install but it doesnt and a "reboot" option appears but when I press reboot, the phone just restarts and the update is not installed.

Any ideas how I get update this RoM?

    Thanks guys
Hello and Happy New Year to all of you.
This is the second OTA update I do and nothing wrong with this. It applies the update after reboot and also TWRP is not modified.

If ota engine doesn' t work for you, check your rom' s installation.
    Ota should work fine.
But you can also manually update your rom.
Download the newer build where is comfortable for you, e. g. in internal storage.
Boot to twrp, hit install in main twrp' s menu, choose internal storage ( or where you placed newer build before ) and swipe to flash the zip.
After that, return to main twrp' s menu, hit wipe, advanced wipe and wipe cache.
    Reboot from twrp to twrp.
    Last step, reboot to system.
Voilà, you will be good to go with your updated rom.

Hearing that makes me very happy.

Can you maybe point us to that developer, so that we will know where to look for updates regarding LOS19-on-daisy progress?

If not yet, then will you post a link in this thread once there is something to be seen?
Not really, keep looking for new pages on the rom forum. Building a ROM is not like i'll have it working in XX times, it's like it either works or not. Sorry cannot be more specific.

LineageOS 18.1 is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11/R, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    What's working:
    Boots
    RIL
    Fingerprint
    Wi-Fi
    Bluetooth
    Camera
    Audio
    Sensors
    Flash
    LED
    GPS

    Known issues:
    You tell me

    Installation:
    1. Download the latest build from here
    2. Download LinkBoi00's version of TWRP here
    3. Reboot to bootloader (adb reboot bootloader)
    4. Fastboot into TWRP recovery (fastboot boot twrp*.img)
    5. Do a factory reset in TWRP
    6. Flash the latest build of Lineage OS
    7. Boot into your new phone
    Optional:
Most of us will want the basic functionality like Google Play, Maps and others, therefore I recommend downloading Gapps. You choose your own, but I recommend OpenGapps. They are among the few that can survive OTA updates.
If you do this, I recommend booting into the new LineageOS first, then reboot to recovery, do a factory reset and then only flash the gapps. If you don't do this, the gapps won't install properly

    Credits:
Lyceris-chan (most of this is possible due to him)
    LinkBoi00
    ItsVixano
    LineageOS
    The wider Android community

    Ending words:
This is a follow-up to the Lineage 17.1 ROM that I was working on. You cannot just upgrade from it to this via the system updater, you have to go through the process above. As said before, this is mostly possible due to Lyceris-chan, go support him. If you have any errors or questions feel free to ask in the thread. As for official status, might happen, probably not, I don't have enough time to make the push. As for MicroG, I plan to publish a build too, keep an eye out on xda. If I failed to credit you, make yourself known.

By no means is it mandatory, I do this because I find it interesting. But it takes a lot of time and also requires me to have a powerful server, so if you could spare some change, I would be grateful.

Sorry, for leaving the rom broken and being away for so long. I had important deadlines at school and could no work on this rom. Sorry, from now on things should be much smoother, probably microg build coming in the next month.

I have gotten Bluetooth fixed, selinux is enforcing. Building now to see if I can get WFD foxed as well.

Depending on the results, new build with February OTA might be out today or tomorrow.

Latest OTA is out, Bluetooth is working and it has the February security patch. Feel free to tell me you got it.
