/*
* I'm not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed (like it did for me...).
* Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in the products you find here before flashing it!
* YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
* Your warranty will be void if you tamper with any part of your device / software.
* Same statement for XDA.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

This PS has me a bit confused: my phone is already on MIUI, so in this case do I need to flash vendor and firmware or can I just flash the ROM?

and about recovery, can I keep TWRP or do I need to install the Lineage recovery?

    If you were on stock just flash the rom.
    Sometimes people after they unlocked bootloader jumps between miui variants.
    so if you switched between the miui releases then just flash the stock of your device and flash this rom after.

    that's it

    Fast charging does not seem to be working , auto brightness is broken , live display is not working
    will add more if i find any
    hopefully the fast charging one can be fixed soon because trickle charging a 5000mAh battery is no fun :)
    great work tho nice rom
    Several apps are dropping frames while scrolling , did not happen on miui 12.06

    Fast charging is working for me. It just doesn't say fast charging. But it works. I think charging speed can't be changed just by changing the rom which is essentially the top most layer of the whole software.

      Is there any flickering issue at 120Hz?
      No I haven't noticed it
      Don't think it will happen also because unlike miui the refresh rate is locked
      In miui even at 120hz the refresh rate used to drop down to 60hz in low light conditions thus giving the flicker effect
      In LOS the refresh rate is constant so no flickers at all
