Ya, wondering if the dev is just waiting for an a12 port for lineage. Sucks because this is one of a few roms that has anx camera working well. Which is the only thing keeping me from upgrading to a12.

I flashed lineage-18.1-20210921-UNOFFICIAL-sweet-VANILLA.zip & opengapps pico from stock ROM. All good so far but I have an ANX question. I tried panorama button and was prompted for download, but it just freezes when I use it. Does the panorama not work or have I installed it wrongly?

You installed it correctly, it just doesnt work.
A lot of features in ANX won't work.

OK thanks, the ANX camera does everything else I want. I'll keep fingers crossed for a working panorama at some future date! Just glad for a working LOS as I can't stand MIUI.

Suggestion to change link in opening post to root folder on SourceForge.
Because now it points on outdated June build when available fresh Sep.
Even I mistakenously installed old build and only out of curiosity checked SF.

when I was meant:
I came direct from Miui 12.5 EU
-first unlock Bootloader (after 1 week wait)
-install TWRP with ADB TWRP-3.5.2-sweet-Nebrassy.img
-Reboot to TWRP
-Flash TWRP once again with TWRP install (to stay permanently)
-with TWRP format Data (Wipe->Format Data)
-reboot to TWRP
-install lineage-18.1-20210921-UNOFFICIAL-sweet-VANILLA with TWRP
-install OpenGapps (ARM64, V11, nano) with TWRP
-clear Davlic
-Boot into System
-after initial Setup reboot to TWRP
-Install Magisk v23.0
-reboot to system (Root)

Hi,
as i dont know for shure if updating will delete all apps and data i run still on 18.1 from July. Two weeks ago Android presented a message "system outdated, update?" I was wondering how this message can appear under lineage. Curiosity kills the cat, since then it used nearly 5GB OTA and 11GB WLAN, showed as "Systemupdates" in data usage. An app with this name cannot be found. Any suggestions? No other Software has been installed in the weeks before this message. Thank you.

I would download the new Version to my SD card.
Then boot into TWRP
Clear Davlic Cache
INSTALL the new version without deleting anything (dirty flash)
Clear Davlic Cache
Reboot into the new system

I have done this several times with my old RedmiNote5 Pro and PixelExperience image
...and i will do this if a newer LineageOS is ready...

I'm running this ROM (not rooted) and it's super fluent, battery life is amazing. I'm super happy.

Maybe the things I miss is a way to wake the screen, double tap would be cool e.g.
Also LOS on my Moto G7 had this shake to enable the flashlight and camera which was also very handy and used daily.

But considering how smooth this ROM runs and the battery life now I couldn't be more pleased.

Except for two or three rare glitches I encountered, I only noticed that there's some issue with the alarm clock notification (not the alarm itself). So nothing major.

I'll have to correct myself here. A few days ago, I suddenly noticed very high battery drain and there sometimes was a mystery app in the statistics with 15-20% battery usage. I thought this was one of the apps I uninstalled, but the battery kept draining and the phone was warmer than usual (indication something is running in the background). Antivirus couldn't find anything. I also hadn't installed much and nothing from dubious sources. I did not even surf any weird websites.
Given the latest build here is from September, it will probably lack some security updates. I don't know what was on my phone (maybe just some background app that malfunctioned), but I just installed ArrowOS 12 (and newest TWRP) today and everything is fine again! So if someone is very cautious about security, I can recommend ArrowOS so far, it also doesn't require any extra vendor files.
Still grateful for the LineageOS which gave a very good experience most of the time.
