great but I have some issues

thanks for creating this ROM @ripee :good:
I bought an I9195 to use with this ROM. Having a recent android on a relative small size phone is ideal.
Everything runs smooth, fast even. And battery time is 2 days or more.
I flashed as was described without errors. I did have to use a custom build TWRP, the one on the TWRP site is 64bit which cannot be flashed.

I do have some issues...
- SMS texting is broken.
no messages are received.
creating a message gives a little balloon message "could not start conversation".
- numerous "android.process.media keeps stopping" popups.
At first I worked without a SD card inserted and figured it might have to do with this but after adding a Sd card the messages keep coming.
I tried clearing the MediaScanner app data and used an app "AZ mediaScanner" to try to repopulate the library but this fails (getting file list -> 'android.process.media' popups and the app hangs)
I can't use the gallery or change the phone ringtone. error and the screen closes.
- SD card detection failed on cold start (once)
with adding a sd card there was a message that the card might be slow. The card (Sandisk Ultra 16 GB class 10) does work.
One time after a cold boot messages that the SD card is missing.
I did the card prepare again (with format) and again after a cold boot "missing sd card". I did a restart and now no more problems with the Sd card. I do worry a bit about this.

Ripee, perhaps you can check the SMS and mediaScanner? is it just me with these problems?
If the SD card problems come up again I will get another card to use.

I have the September build on test and have just sent an sms no problem. I am wondering if you have used the wrong twrp. I have 3.2.3-0. The build pretty much seems to work and I am currently testing it on a second phone.

Thanks @ripee per this wonderful ROM.
I succesfully installed HavocOS 3.12 built last 2020.12.18 and I'm using it as a daily driver for my old S4 Mini I9195.
4g data, sms, hotspot, camera, bluetooth, external sd card work without problems.
The only problem I had with this ROM was the crash of settings when choosing an audio for ring tones, notifications and so on.
I solved this installing Ringtone Picker, a small app from Play Store, used to pick the ringtone for settings.
Another problem I have is that Windows 10 sees a different network each time I turn on the hotspot. I had this problem also with LineageOS 14.1, and only with S4 Mini (other S4 i9505 do not have this issue), so I suppose it has to do with the rom itself.
Each time hotspot is turned on, the mac address of Wifi network is different (last 3 hex values change for each session).
Under /vendor/etc/wifi/WCNSS_qcom_cfg.ini I see there is a setting
gEnableApRandomBssid=1
Do you think I could stop it to change the last 3 hex values of the Mac Address if I turn this setting to 0?

I always had that problem with this rom - a new network every time I tethered, but the main problem I had with the rom was the 8GB on the s4 mini which left me constantly short of space for apps.

I changed the line with gEnableApRandomBssid=0 and reboot. This stopped creating new network each time. It appears I always get the same WiFi mac address, even if I turn on/off the phone hotspot. So this may have fixed that annoying behavior :D

I have to report another strange behavior of this rom, and it's the Alarm. When I set an alarm, let's say to 6.30am, sometimes the phone wakes up late (6.34am, 6.36am).
I checked whether Clock app was battery optimized, but this app do not have Battery optimization setting (it cannot be changed to Optimize/Non-optimize like other apps). I don't know what put the phone in such deep sleep mode, but it's crucial that if I set an alarm to a certain time, it should wake up at that time, not minutes later.

Changelog

* Ported from official LineageOS sources, so these builds are as stable as their lineage-18.1 counterparts.
* Home button wake is broken because Havoc hasn't implemented it into their R branch yet.
* Synced with Havoc-OS sources.

Hello
I installed Havoc OS 3 rom just a week ago and it's nicely working, i have just 1 problem: phone recharges only in slow mode and don't know why. I use same charger and usb cables i've always used without problems.

If i would like to switch to Havoc OS 4 it would be better to make a clean install?

You can dirty flash lineage-18.1 over top of lineage-17.1, so I see no reason why it wouldn't work on Havoc 3.x to 4.x.

LiveDisplay(colour temperature of screen) doesnt work on last build, in previos(android 10) too, it works fine in build with Android 9. I seems it always turn off, when try to turn on, nothing happen. In LineageOS 18.1 works fine.
I have GT-I9190.

Havoc-OS does not support LiveDisplay, so a part of Havoc-ifying Lineage sources is to remove it.

The firmware is decent Havoc v3.5 !
    1) Faster than Los 17
    2) Enough settings !
    3) Suitable for everyday use !
    4) Minimum of mistakes...we hope that ripee will fix them in the next build..
Only it looks like ripee abandoned this project..?

Unless I figure Q out, there's no point in giving users hope.

Edit: mernurisha sent me a few good lines I was missing. New Q builds are running now.

Wake with home button Doesn't work with 23/11/2019 build either
Surprisingly wake with volume button is not working on 22 build(tested many times) but work on this build that's kinda weird

I forgot to migrate a couple more settings from overlay-lineage into the main overlay. Perhaps new 1123 builds later today if I get a chance to run them again.

New 1128 builds are up now, I've included @Jaroslav.100 's boot animation zip.
