now I'm stuck on pairing the remote.. I tried pressing home button for more than 10 seconds, but didn't work..EDIT: solved by rebooting and instantly press the home button.

Gapps included the tv launcher, so it's kinda necessary. Other than that, if I want to install apps for my friends and then they put their own account, I can't do that.
The TV launcher (LeanBack) is included in the ROM. It will appear regardless of whether you flash GAPPs or not.
Not what I mean. Gapps are not included in the rom, but gapps included the tv launcher..
Are you sure?! When installing Gapps, on the installing process in twrp says: tvlauncher..
Ok, perfect. Now the problem is that the rom itself don't have a file manager so I can't install .apk. tried via adb but didn't work with .apk :/
Problem solved: I was using the adb install on Linux without making directory, etc.
Solved by doing it on Windows.
Would be fun (for me, but maybe not for kids), but why strike-trough? Does it not work?
I forgot to mention without GApps.
It was a joke (a very bad joke actually), in case you hadn't noticed. I'm not sure what to suggest. Maybe Tetris...? I'm not really a video games person, sorry.

1I have a 4k(mantis), will I brick it if I flash LineageOS? Problem I have is, Amazon told me not to return the 4k and I cannot register. I am not sure if e-fuse tripped by Amazon yet. Kamakiri worked, have access to TWRP through adb (no OTG)
I just want to know if I twrp install Lineage, will I brick it forever? Ubuntu maybe? Anything I can do without Amazon registration?
Edit: looking at the mantis info from this thread github, mantis is also a mt8695. So it might not work, but it should not brick it, right? Meaning if it doesn't flash, I can flash pre-root stock ROM back? I am feeling brave. Wish me luck.

3--- Im using a remote with a dongle, the back button dont work, is that normal? It works on other devices.

1- i can see the installed apps in the settings or with a other app. Its just inconvenient, i tought because this a lineage rom this wouldn't happen.
2- i looked allot of pages and didn't find it. I will look again.

- Wipe data, system (/system_root) and cache
- Flash the ROM and the GApps
