Can't dirty flash this over the top of the last one (lineage-18.1-20210406-UNOFFICIAL-surya). Get an error about dynamic partitions.

The good news is that it doesn't destroy the existing installation, either.

Now that we're on A11 for this device, firmware included, what is the best custom recovery to use? I'm having problems with any build of TWRP that I can find for this device on Android 11.

Those of you who tried arrowOS, do you feel the LOS build is more stable / snappier? Does everything work (including nfc) or do you recommend arrow?

I stared with arrow cause it was official and LOS is not. Both are very smooth. A lot af android roms are base in LOS, that's why i prefer LOS. For me is working fine but i don't use gapps(google services). I have not tried last version cause i have to make backups , and i can't backup my working profile....If you like arrow you gonna like this one. They are very clean, simple and smooth. And all the useful features are there. NFC work fine. My banking apps works, But i don't have notifications. That's normal cause i need google services for that

Thanks. Did you notice any difference between the 2 roms in idle / normal usage temperature? I'm still trying to decide, but I always used LOS on my previous phone so I'll probably end up choosing that.

Actually, most ROMs use AOSP base only. Only crDroid & RessurectionRemix use LineageOS base as far as I know.

Okay, last fukk-up took me one day to get my phone back to work.
Dunno what i did wrong, but had to re-flash everything from scratch.
so, is anyone willing to give me fool-prove-easy-english help to install newest LOS? including steps and downloads?
right now im on 20210406.
tried to flash 0509, but failed miserably. also backup in orangefox somehow got "lost" and wasnt able to re-install... needed to flash twrp-3.5.2_10-1-surya, to get phone back up and running.

AHTUNG!! BEFORE FLASHING YOU SHOULD FLASH MIUI A11
This is a tad confusing indeed.
"Achtung!" is German and it stands for "Attention!" or "Caution!".
IMHO, the word "should" is misleading in this particular case. I think that "have to" is more appropriate.
@ Kyzrwolf
Did you flash the Android 11 stock ROM (POCO X3 NFC EEA V12.0.7.0.RJGEUXM) before updating to the lineage-18.1-20210509 build?
By the looks of it, that's the only one available.
I haven't taken the plunge yet to be quite honest as the instructions are not quite clear.

german is no problem for me since i am german ^^

yeah, i did flash that one, but got problems with boot-loops after flashing the 0609 after. so i think i made a mistake somewhere with formatting or wiping. but not sure. thats why i ask for a fool-prove-guide somehow... step by step... or i wait.

    Question:

    1. I am currently on MIUI 12.2 | V12.0.9.0.QJGMIXM Global after experiencing recovery bootloop (TWRP and OrangeFox) when trying to OTA update ArrowOS previously. I tried formatting and wiping data in all combinations i can think of. What are the steps i need to take to prevent this from happening?
    2. If i want to flash this, what do i need to know/do? Do i have to be on older versions of recovery and ROM before flashing as it doesn't support A11 or something along those lines?

Again same error. Error-1. Now I'm downloading 12.0.8.0 EEA A11 recovery rom. I will flash it. Then I will flash lineage OS. I hope it will work then :)
