Dear All,
i have the SM-T815 LTE and installed with success the last build of 18.1 from the 20 Ocotober 2021.
My issue is that i cannnot set the SELinux to enforced.
And then PrimeVideo don't work because of that.
How can I set it to enforced while it is by default disable ?

Regards,
It's not something that can be changed in the settings. Once we fix the softkey backlight and RIL bugs, I will set the kernel as enforced and revise the sepolicy in the sources to restore functionality while having an enforcing kernel.

I suggest you flash Magisk and enable Hide, then add the Prime Video app to the list of apps root needs to be hidden from, or just sideload the Prime Video app if it doesn't appear in the Play Store.

The issue is on 17.1, can anyone running 18.1 please check if it's still there?
The problem does not occur when using the headphone jack, only when using a Bluetooth audio device.
My T810 is on LOS18.1 from 20211014.
When on it shuts off only a very short stutter occurs in BT headphone.
Tested with Radiodroid.

Thank you for your answer.
I succeded in making it work by installing the last version of the 22 october.
I just did not click on the notification "discover selinux" at first startup.

II think primevideo do not see the disabeled selinux then and let the video play.

I will be waiting for the build with selinux enabled...
Please let us know.

Any hope for a gts28wifi / sm-t713 build? If you don't plan one, suggestions for starting one based on this code base? I've compiled LineageOS from source before. Just never to a new target.

Thank you for the great 18.1 ROM. I installed on T710. After installation I had a problem with the boot loader. (locked). Trouble with installing TRWP (bootloader locked did not accept change) . Issue was solved. (had to go via " : \ adb reboot recovery" to get into TWRP)> in TRWP the Magisk and unroot was simple.

I have now rooted T710 with lineage 18.1

Hello,

On SM-T710:l, at 79% battery:

TWRP official last version for this tablet.

Made total full wipe before installing.
Then install the ROM and then the Nano Gapps. On reboot, never been able to finalize and to connect wifi.

So, full total Wipe one more time and install the ROM, then Pico Gapps. OK, it works.

But, the battery drain is very very very fast... down to 0%. In 3 hours of no using the tablet !

So, I plugged official charger and cable and the tablet show "8 hours before to be fully charged" 🤯😳

So I have changed cable and charger: same message. Now, after 1 hour of charging, without using, the battery is only 6%.

Please, what can I do ? Is that a trick possible or do I need to go back to stock ROM ?

Thank you for help.

Does mobile data work on gts28ltexx and gts210ltexx build 1022?

Unfortunately It doesn't work. The LTE menu in the Settings is gray, and says that there is no SIM card inserted. I'm talking about the sm-t815 version. The tablet isn't mine, so I cannot continue testing with the future releses of this ROM.

Haven't had any other issuies with this ROM.

I Started with the 0917 build and dirty flashed the 0930 build over that, I don't have a battery drain. So try an older build maybe that will fix it for you. I have tested the latest build yet. Your post was from 29th of October there is an 1103 build available now. Maybe try that.

@ytccts I just installed the latest build 1103 and used 1112-nano gapps. No battery drain. Played games untill 76% battery. Put it in the charger, said it would be full in about 40 minutes which was pretty accurate. Please note I keep BT and Location/GPS off untill I need it for something. But image works fine for me I have the SM-T710 as well.

On the latest build on 710 the WiFi just quits. had go to back to the last build
I know, I was working to optimize the blobs by picking our commits from 15.1 onward into separate branches, so as not to have to download gigs and gigs of blob commits for other devices when building. I had some trouble figuring out what we need and what we don't. The latest build 1119 should be as good as previous builds, I have deleted the previous unstable builds.

Also with the 20/11 build on my SM-T715 the WI-Fi problem isn't resolved and remains "not working". Also "back" and "multiwindows" buttons are still not working...

@halloarno fyi mine is still on 20211120 and has no wifi drops.
My router is on 2.4GHz only.
Didn't try the later ones but this version I've installed by only wiping system first.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device. All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. If you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

    Code:
    * [B][U]Your warranty is now void.[/U][/B]
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or your getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

(Please read them BEFORE posting anything in the thread!)
Q: Whenever I try flashing any lineage-18.1 build, I get the following error in TWRP: Updater process ended with ERROR: 7
A: This error appears whenever you try to flash an Q-based rom within a version of TWRP older than 3.5. Simply flash the linked below version 3.5 or higher, reboot back into recovery, and flash the rom zip again.

Q: Will any of the variants ever receive official builds from LineageOS?
A: In short, no. The reason is that, in order to get a modern version of Android working properly on an ageing device some legacy commits needed to have been re-introduced into the current source branch. These include a fix for something as fundamental as Wi-Fi.

Q: How often will new builds be released?
A: At least once per month: as soon as possible after each new Android security patch level is merged and whenever a new feature is added or a bug is fixed.

If your currently installed ROM is any version of either: stock Samsung TouchWiz, LineageOS, CyanogenMod, or any other custom ROM, you must perform a clean install of that LineageOS 18.1 variant, which corresponds to the model of your tablet!

Typically if you do not do a Clean Install then you are not allowed to report errors or problems. If you Dirty Install and you do have problems then you will be asked to Wipe All and Clean Install and see if the problems still exist. This is a DAILY changing rom and any bug that you found was not working on the previous day's build may be fixed with todays daily build. On a side note, the code implemented to fix that bug could potentially break something that worked on that previous build. So reporting problems on a day old build that you dirty flashed over whichever build of whichever rom you had flashed previously will not be accepted as a true error.

Problems known to happen after a Dirty Installation
    1. A muddled up mess of a system. You are taking a rom and installing a newer rom with changes over the top of your old rom. Between these two periods of time during which you used your tablet and created data, changed system options, and used apps. This is absolutely increasing the risk of causing problems somewhere in the system/data partitions. Some people have luck with Dirty Flashing. However, it's always hit-and-miss because of what we mentioned above about bug fixes breaking previously working functions. Dirty flashing doesn't only create problems if the source code of the system data and the system settings of the new build are significantly different from those of your previous build. That's not to say that Clean Installing won't ever create problems, but only bugs present on a Cleanly Installed rom are relevant for development purposes.

    * Clean Install: Fully wiping everything and installing the rom onto a fully clean system/data partition of the tablet.

    * Dirty Install: Installing the rom and GApps over top of the older rom to save time and not have to reinstall all the user apps and tweaking system and app settings that usually take a lot of time to set up as you like.

    Bugs
    - The microphone is able to record sound, but the sound is very faint. This is due to Samsung's proprietary drivers, as determined by Skulldron.
    - T710 & T715/Y: Camera viewfinder is misaligned with the dimentions of the display, such that the shutter button is almost off the screen
    - You tell us!
