Did you upgrade to Android 8.1 before flashing the ROM? Did you format data and cache after flashing it?
Hi. Having the same issue @FutureLizard205 and @powermaker450 report. It happens as soon as the screen turns off automatically after a few seconds. This is a freshly installed version with Nov 22 security patch and NikApps Core. Reinstalled to test and it happens again. What I did consciously after reflashing: set up my Google Account, installed my beloved Firefox and set the screen display brightness to auto.
Edit: also happens when using the device with screen on. It's crashes pretty regularly, also without Gapps as well as on CrDroid.
Not yet.. I'm using an Android 10 ROM at the moment and no problems there.
Nah, there are random freezes even without gapps or magisk. But lineageos 17.1 is pretty stable IMO.
Download your preferred gapps ( i preferred bitgapps bcoz occupy less space and it is magisk flashable)
/* I'm not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in the products you find here before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you. Your warranty will be void if you tamper with any part of your device / software. */
It's happening to all of us (see the "Known issues" section above). Updating some vendor blobs should fix it, but I think I'll need some help with it.
Yes, I'm still working on it. I'm still waiting for Android 12 CAF releases targeting to msm8937. After they''re there, it should be possible to build it using the device trees from Android 11 (with a few changes).
