Hi! I've got a TB-8504F and I'm experiencing the same problem as @powermaker450 ("the device freezes, then the screen turns black and won't respond until a hard reboot is performed" = Kernel panic). No GApps or MicroG installed. I've attached the console-ramoops file I managed to get.

Edit: I added the .txt at the end of the file name in order to be able to attach it.

Hi. Having the same issue @FutureLizard205 and @powermaker450 report. It happens as soon as the screen turns off automatically after a few seconds. This is a freshly installed version with Nov 22 security patch and NikApps Core. Reinstalled to test and it happens again. What I did consciously after reflashing: set up my Google Account, installed my beloved Firefox and set the screen display brightness to auto.

Edit: also happens when using the device with screen on. It's crashes pretty regularly, also without Gapps as well as on CrDroid.

Any idea what I can try to fix this? It seems this is affecting more users. Any luck yet @FutureLizard205 @powermaker450 ?

Guys, where do you download the Gapps from? I cant find them online... can you please help? ty
Download your preferred gapps ( i preferred bitgapps bcoz occupy less space and it is magisk flashable)
Bitgapps : https://bitgapps.github.io/download.html
Opengapps : https://opengapps.org/
Flame gapps : https://flamegapps.github.io/download#downloads
Light gapps : https://sourceforge.net/projects/litegapps/
Nik gapps : https://nikgapps.com/downloads#downloads

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11 (R), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

It's happening to all of us (see the "Known issues" section above). Updating some vendor blobs should fix it, but I think I'll need some help with it.

Are you still developing this project? Can Tab4 8 update to Android 12? How can I donate to you to keep this project going? Thank you, hope to hear from you soon.
Yes, I'm still working on it. I'm still waiting for Android 12 CAF releases targeting to msm8937. After they''re there, it should be possible to build it using the device trees from Android 11 (with a few changes).
