You have to force it to boot on lineage recovery just after installing it and if you boot normally it will get replaced.See the instructions on official websiteI am unable to install lineage recovery, no matter what I do. This is killing me. Just enters stock recovery. I used Odin, heimdall both. Did not boot the device after installing recovery. I was on
Android 12, so downgraded to 11. TWRP was installed successfully but did not go to recovery. Just stuck at this device doesn't have official samsung software warning after the unlocked bootloader warning. Now back to stock OneUI4.1.
That's what I did. Check my post. I didn't boot the phone. Immediately entered recovery but it was stock only.
I am trying it out tomorrow or 2 days later. Will tell you about results.
well...Lte version is still at lineage os 18.1I am confused because of the following:
- lineos 19.1 20220511 is official on this page https://download.lineageos.org/gta4xlwifi
- lineos 19.1 20220514 is unofficial on this page https://lineage.linux4.de/devices/gta4xlwifi.html
If we install the official version, will we be able to OTA update later to all newer versions? Why there is still the unofficial version since it is now official?
- also there is this firmware update https://lineage.linux4.de/fw_update/gta4xlwifi.html
What does it do? My device is already on Android 12, do I need to install this firmware update, then the above official version? Or just directly install the official version?
