Just wanted to report back, the device does empty relatively quickly. I was attributing it to me testing it in the basement with bad reception, but this time it was in the middle of a larger city. Battery usage in standby/flight mode is very good.
It never got its battery replaced, that could also be the cause.

Are there going to be any changes in regards to battery usage in the new release? Any tests you can recommend me to debug this further?

I dirty flashed lineage-19.1-20221006-UNOFFICIAL-zerofltexx.zip over the previous version lineage-19.1-20220827-UNOFFICIAL-zerofltexx.zip without any wipes or reinstallation of Gapps (could that have been a mistake?)

Everything looked fine. Phone was at 90% charge, I used it very little (maybe 15 minutes) and it suddenly turned off. After starting it up again, it reported 0% but ran just fine in recovery mode.

Take this report with a grain of salt because this battery was previously discharging quickly as well, but it has never had this "jumpy" behaviour. I will search for guide on how to debug this but LineageOS-specific suggestions are welcome.

Release LineageOS 19.1 for G920F and G925F · fakemanoan/LineageOS-Releases

New releases: Major changes from last release include: Re-released S6 Edge version, it now should boot Modified powerhints.json a bit.

This should fix the issues you were having
This is on the EQ1 kernel with the necessary additions, so I recommend using that over the temporary boot.zip.

There is also a small modification to the powerhints.json file for regular S6 users.

Did you use the S7E mod yourself? Is the code for it in the kernel shipped with this phone or do I need to use one of the custom kernels provided on the site you linked?

Also, I found someone with a very similar issue, his phone goes to 0% quickly and then he can spend a lot of time in the recovery menu (as can I).

i believe that is an "issue" with android 12 in general. If I recall correctly there are magisk modules that allow you to change the status bar padding, but I am not aware of the name.

How did you pass the Safetynet check? I've tried Magisk Hide Props as well as Riru but none of them works. The CTS Profile is always broken.

Well... There is no one. The default launcher is QuickStep.

I don't know if you got your answer but this is how I did it for future reference:

* Enable Zygisk on 25.2
* Enforce DenyList
* Configure DenyList: {Play Store; Google Wallet; BankApp}
* Hide Magisk from apps. (Not needed for later versions)
* Install Universal SafetyNet Fix & MagiskProps Hide Config zips
* Temp enable SU access
* Type `su` -> `props` -> `1` -> `f` -> `26` -> `55` to change fingerprint
* Reboot and check device certification in PlayStore and YASNAC
