So you flashed just the ROM as you wrote and that gives you a bootloop?
When it reboots tried button combos to get into TWRP or Download Mode.
Which TWRP?
Did you "Format Data"?
The bootloop is fixed by flashing original rom from samsung an used odin.

TWRP 3.6.0_9-gts3lwifi
Lineage 19.1 20220815 unofficial gts3lwifi (rom)
Yes format data, did OEM unlock for the bootloader.

Now is stock, going to start again.

Problems with AudioFX...

It seems, that AudioFX doesn't have any effect on the audio output.
I use it with an vibration speaker which needs a bit adjustment. On my old Telekom Puls tablet with LieageOS 14.1 the AudioFX worked very well, but now with my Galaxy Tab S3 and LineageOS 19.1 it is without effect.

Any idea what to do?

Regards, Bart

Yes, you can but you need the ff:
1. Magisk with zygist enabled
2. Universal safetynet fix installed (magisk module)
3. Magiskhide props config (magisk module). You will need a terminal emulator to configure magiskhide. In the config select Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 as your device.
4. Reboot afterwards. Give google play store a few hours (this is consistent in my case). Then later search Netflix in playstore you will find it there.
Hello,
First of all, thank you very much for this ROM.
It gives this tablet a new lease of life, and above all it makes it much more powerful than it ever was with the official Samsung ROM... It's a shame from samsung...

I'm writing to you because I'm having trouble getting Netflix to work.
I have done the operations suggested by jtrakx, I can find Netflix in the playstore and I can install it.
Unfortunately, once I run Netflix I get an error message -93

I am now stuck on it
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I suggest you do the following:
1. Uninstall netflix.
2. Download the latest stable netflix version from any alternative sites like APKMirror, F-droid, etc.
3. Install your downloaded apk.
4. Clear the netflix cache.
5. run netflix. If it works, you may update it using playstore.

If you have YASNAC installed, make sure you pass both the basic integrity test and the CTS profile test.

@andgest I don't use Netflix but was interested in the problem.
When searching the net for "netflix error -93" I get a link even to XDA.
Did you try all suggested there?

Hello,
Thank you for your answers :)

I have tried the different solutions found on this forum related to my 5001 -93 error but nothing works...

By going through another store I have the same error. I can update on the PlayStore but it does not change anything.

On YASNAC, the basic and CTS profile integration tests go well.

However my tablet is a sm-t820 and not a sm-t825 as displayed on YASNAC.
I used the MagiskHide Props Config module to change my tablet footprint, but I did not find the sm-t820 in the list, so I selected the sm-t825.
Could this be the problem?

Do I have to install a particular magisk module?

Thanks in advance ;)

I have an SM-T820. Installed twrp-3.6.0_9-0 and flashed this rom. Magisk 25.2 (25200) app is installed but it's not rooted yet. Ramdisk shows Yes. Only option I have is to "select and patch a file". I tried extracting the boot.img from this ROM, patching it, then flashing in TWRP but that broke the kernal and resulted in a bootloop. ADB won't recognize the device in download mode. I've reflashed TWRP in Odin, then reflashed this ROM in TWRP, and it boots normal again.

Can someone please explain how to get root with Magisk or point me to a guide that works?

Did that and worked like a charm.

I got an error when flashing the patched boot image. Do you remember the steps you took?

Hmm. That's weird.
Could you please try to install first an old version (2-3 months old) of Netflix to see if its gonna work? If it does, then you may update the old version using playstore.
or maybe you need to add Netflix in the magisk denylist.

Install Magisk using TWRP. Just rename magisk.apk to magisk.zip. After reboot, the magisk will update to latest version and there will be an option to activate root. No need to use "select and patch a file."

Same thing with an old version of Netflix
I also tried adding Netflix to the magisk denylist but it's the same.

I'll probably go back to a fresh installation.
Do I need to install any magisk modules to run Netflix? If yes, which ones?

I just installed the latest version of universal safetynet fix and magiskhide and did not install any other modules to just to make the Netflix work .
BTW, I use NikGapps core along with Lineage 19.

Thank you for this valuable information :)

I started from a clean installation of Lineage-19.1-20220923-UNOFFICIAL-gts3lwifi, with NikGapps-core-arm64-12.1-20220908-signed.zip and with Magisk 25.2 and the safetynet-fix-v.2.3.1 module.

If I understand correctly, when you say magiskhide you mean the module MagiskHidePropsConf? Or the MagiskHide option in the magisk settings that was replaced by Zygisk with magisk version 25?

If you talk about MagiskHidePropsConf, did you edit the fingerprint of the tablet? If yes, did you use an existing certified fingerprint in the list?
I can't find a fingerprint for the SM-T820 (my tablet) but only for the SM-T825... Which fingerprint should I choose?

Yes I use MagiskHide Props Conf along with the safetynet fix module. And yes I edit the fingerprint by choosing the SM-T825 which matches the model of my device. You have selected the nearest fingerprint for your device and that should not cause problem with Netflix.

I did not hide the Magisk cause I don't see the need for it so far.

When I did a clean install, I format the data and other partitions (except SDCard) so that there will be no trace of old apps and data.

Successfully clean installed the latest build (lineage-19.1-20220923-UNOFFICIAL-gts3lwifi.zip) on my SM-820 with a modified version of FlameGApps-12.1-basic-arm64-20220920.zip, and I have two-column display working in the settings.

When I installed, I did NOT reboot between flashing LineageOS and FlameGApps. In order to make this work, I had to modify installer.sh inside of the FlameGApps ZIP file as per the file at https://ufile.io/eicuubqv (the link to the file will expire on October 26th 2022).

The issue with all the USB options in the top pulldown menu being disabled seems to have been fixed in this version (original issue details at https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-19-1-for-galaxy-tab-s3.4418855/post-86778643).

The issue with the camera having a green bar and the microphone not working in Zoom is still occurring, although there was no reason to believe it was fixed since it is documented as a known issue and Awesometic never said anything to suggest it should be fixed.

So I give up
Can't run Netflix without getting that damn 15001 -93 error

I tried formatting again :
- Magisk 24.3
- Zygist enabled
- Universal SafetyNet Fix 2.3.1
- MagiskHide Props Config 6.1.2 which simulates a galaxy tab s7 wifi
- Basic integrity PASS
- CTS profile match PASS
- Shamiko 0.5.2
- Netflix visible on the playstore and can be installed
- Configure DenyList with Netflix, GooglePlay Store, Google Play Service (gsm and unstable)

After reboot always the same error message
I tried deleting the cache and data from Netflix, same thing

I think I'll forget about the possibility of running Netflix on this tablet

Note: If I install the Boursorama banking application and add it to the DenyList, the application detects the Root

    Hello again,
a few days ago I build this ROM again with the latest sources to provide my good old device with a update. I have included the latest kernel from awesometic which is currently only used with LOS 20. Additionally I have applied the patch mentioned last time to enhance palm rejection when using the pen.

On my Tab all is running very well. Unfortunately I could not install it straight forward. I had to wipe system and cache before. Then I installed ROM and GApps afterwards. Otherwise I ran into bootloops. So dirty flashing is okay when wiping system and cache.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

The new version of LineageOS 19 is uploaded now.

This version has upstream LineageOS changes that comes with Android 12.1 r22, and a fix for Keystore to use hardware encryption in Samsung way properly.

In the first LineageOS 19.1 version, it uses some special files from the other partition but for some reason, it broke the boot sequence because of the delay and the permission issues. So I broke the loading of that special files and it would fix that boot failure problem.

Now, thanks to @masdaster , I can fix the boot failure and finally we can use the proper hardware encryption.

Thank you, and please note that the changelogs to fix the lock screen issue caused by changing the Keystore method.

    Hello all,

After numerous tries, I could fix the camera and the Bluetooth/Headphone jack audio working.

The camera is back, but still has some bugs, unfortunately.
First, we can't use the default camera app, Camera2. It takes a shot but the result is cracked. But we can use a third party app like OpenCamera.
And, there is something weird on the Torch. After using the camera with the flashlight, sometimes the Torch tile on the quick settings is broken, it just said "camera in use". But we still can use the camera.
Lastly, sometimes the camera doesn't work at all after rebooting. Fortunately, it is easily fixed by rebooting again. I don't know why it is well.

Now our audio HAL is built from the source. Previously, we were using audio HAL version 4.0 which is for Android 9 but now we're using version 6.0 which is for Android 11. I can move on to version 7.0, yeah, which is for Android 12, but from this version the configurations have to be modified in many ways so I just pended it.
I had to supplement some audio configurations because of the compatibility of each version, maybe some audio scenarios were broken compared to our LineageOS 18.1. But I confirmed for most used scenarios like the quad-speaker, Bluetooth audio, headphone jack, and wireless display audio, so in most cases it will work well.

I think, we can deprecate our LineageOS 18.1 now because our LOS 19.1 has no fewer features than LOS 18.1. :)

This will resolve the unlock failure issue after dirty-flashing it.

    ## Special Notes
    • You must do clean-install if you are willing to upgrade from another ROM such as an Android 11 based one
    • I have tested Magisk 24.3 working
      • You can fix SafetyNet using Magisk modules, SafetyNet Fix and PropsConfig
    • You can hide the soft nav buttons on the bottom bar. This is the workaround.
      • 1. Go to "System -> Buttons" and check "Enable on-screen nav bar" to enable soft nav bar temporarily
      • 2. Go to "System -> Gestures" and set "System navigation" to "Gesture navigation"
      • 3. Go back to "System -> Buttons" and check "Enable on-screen nav bar" again to disable soft nav bar and enable hardware key.
    • You can hide the bottom Taskbar. This is the workaround.
      • 1. Go to "System -> Buttons" and check "Enable on-screen nav bar" to enable soft nav bar temporarily
      • 2. Go back using navigation bar and go to the "Buttons" menu again
      • 3. Then we can see the "Enable taskbar" option that we couldn't see before. Disable that option.
      • 4. And disable "Enable on-screen nav bar" option again to use the hardware buttons back.
