[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][13.0][OTA][Open Source][Encryption] LineageOS 20 for Redmi Note 7 [lavender]

Thanks so much for the hard work on this rom.
I managed to install it relatively easy.

To make one of my banking apps work I had to install Magisk and add it to the deny list.
Intially it didnt allow me to install a TV/streaming app, however the following morning it all of a sudden allowed it.
Any idea why that would be?

Update: Streaming app (DSTV Now) works, but when I view a channel, then want to go back to main menu of the app/exit the app (so basically stop the video stream), the phone freezes (greyish color with a buzzing sound), then automatically reboots.

Update 2: Similar behaviour on the Disney+ app (no buzzing noise, but straight reboot), on the F1 TV app no issues experienced.

Also - not sure if this is a bug or a feature I dont know from this Android version - but i dont seem to get a little bubble on top of messages app / whatsapp to indicate I have new / unread messages. Is this a setting somewhere?

Are thoses crash still presents when you disable magisk ? (I know you can temporarly disable magis, with Magisk Delta but I don't know if you can with the official one)

I will check what I can do with Magisk and advice (i can perhaps disable some functions/modules).
Edit: With all modules disabled / Zygisk disabled etc, crash still happend (could not find a way to disable Magisk)


Another symptom: within Disney+ (not tested on DSTV), if I rotate my screen, it also hangs/beeps/reboot (same as going out of the app).

Did you tried to install SafetyNet Fix or Shamiko?

Great ROM, thanks for sharing, so far all OK, tried to download update from 3.3. (Mega.nz, Gofile is empty) but corrupt also second time.

Is Volte working on this ROM?
GCam and other camera apps appear to crash/freeze when used.
Okay I got GCam working using the google services spoofer.
OpenCamera is still not working (freezes when taking pictures) but that's just OpenCamera things.
Really like how this ROM looks and feels. Battery life's better, too!
Also, Volte is confirmed to be working. Calls, messages, and data all are working.

I went from LineageOS 18 to something else with Android 13. It ran horribly, was unusable and the battery died in ~5 hours, just like that.

Then from 13 to 12.1 (ArrowOS) that ran better and lasted longer, but was still too unstable, probably because of too little RAM. After gaming something always crashed something from Android. This had the positive effect that the device lasted longer.

I am curious how this unofficial LineageOS 20 will be. I have now flashed it and set up all my apps again. So far I can say that it runs faster than ArrowOS with Android 12.1. As for the battery, I do not know anything yet. I ran a calibrator at 100% and discharged the battery once. Let's see how it looks then.

But I have one problem. SELinux is disabled and probably does not want to run.
