So, I have been testing this and love the rom. Currently my uptime is 139 hours. N975F
There are however a few issues - some possibly rom related, some root or android 13 related.
Charging. It seems to get to 100% plugged in and vibrate often indicating it allows slight discharge, then recharging almost like plugging in and out the power cable.
Certain apps don't work due to root - banking apps - is there a way around this? I tried looking and using the Lygisk app but have had no success.
VOIP is the big one which is listed in the known issues - is there a workaround other than using whatsapp etc for calls?
Camera doesn't appear to work and just hangs when used in whatsapp. Permission is given but it doesn't actually take a picture.

Again, thank you for the work put into this. It is unbelievably fast even with Microsoft launcher installed etc. I REALLY like it.

Got the Note10+ one week before and directly flashed Lineage OS 20 according instructions, interestingly I encountered some small bugs:
- Key assignment /long press, double press) did not work
- Internal browser could not download anything due to permission reason (however did not ask me as well)

After flashing 19.1 these things all worked fine.

In any case, thank you very much for your build efforts and community contribution!

None of these are device specific at all, they're just a result of lineage 20 not being fully done yet.

Got the Note 10+ d2s, I'm struggling to install Lineage 20 :
I've followed Linux4 instructions with some help from LineageOS wiki here.
Lineage 20 recovery lineage-20.0-20220918-recovery-Linux4-d2s.img installation ok.
Tried to installed LineageOS 20 version lineage-20.0-20220918-UNOFFICIAL-Linux4-d2s, but I've the following error (see also on picture below):
#
Finding update package...
Verifying update package...
E:Failed to verify whole-file signature
Update package verification took 46.9s (result 1).
E:Signature verification failed
E:error: 21

Install from ADB completed with status 2.
Installation aborted
#

Tried also to install Lineage 19 but ended with the exact same error.
Also tried from SD card, same error.
I searched the forum before asking for help here.

Can you help me to install Lineage 20 ?
Thanks in advance!

That's stock recovery, not lineage recovery....
Don't boot to system again after flashing since this is an A-only device where recovery update will replace recovery back to stock one then.
Instructions literally tell about that tho...

Thank you Linux4, indeed the warning note is very clearly written, my mistake.

I've then redo the entire process taking care of that point.
And at the end of the Lineage recovery installation, there is the following errors (see pictures below too):
-------
On PC
Initialising connection...
Detecting device...
Claiming interface...
Setting up interface...

Initialising protocol...
Protocol initialisation successful.

Beginning session...

Some devices may take up to 2 minutes to respond.
Please be patient!

Session begun.

Downloading device's PIT file...
PIT file download successful.

Uploading RECOVERY
100%
RECOVERY upload successful

Ending session...

ERROR: Failed to receive session end confirmation!
Releasing device interface..
.

-------------
On the phone
Only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed(RECOVERY)
-------------

Just in case, I've followed instructions and waited 10 minutes to have the "process complete" message on the phone, never happened of course seeing the error message...
I took care of restarting immediately in recovery, and got the android recovery as shown in my 1st message.

1 remark, about "enable OEM unlock":
I followed the instructions and enabled the OEM unlock in the dev menu asked in the several steps asking for it, during my very first attempt to install Lineage recovery.
Then I noticed that now this "enable OEM unlock" is no more visible in the dev menu.
Last thing I tried:
- boot in android recovery, wiped data/factory reset & cache partition
- redo the entire Lineage recovery installation process
Same pb as above including "enable OEM unlock" no more visible in dev menu.

Really don't know what to do to install Lineage recovery...

And there's your problem... that means BL is not actually unlocked. Please next time follow the instructions more carefully... none of the steps is there just for fun, even the one that tells you that you must connect to wifi after unlocking in DL mode.
OEM unlock not shown or not greyed out is NOT UNLOCKED (even if it is toggled on but not greyed out!).

It was visible the very first time I tried, and I got the same pb.

Anyway, I've just updated the firmware, and now installations worked perfectly, both Lineage recovery & OS.

Thank you so much for your hardwork Linux4 !

Will this rom work on both Exynos and QC chipset? I have the snapdragon version and just want to make sure based on what the title says.

Thanks!

Hello, I provided the installation, everything is perfect. But I need to use Samsung Notes app with this version. Is there a way to set this up? When I try to install it through the play store, I get a notification saying it's not compatible with my phone version.
    Hi
    You can try this port

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 13, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Instructions:
    • Follow the instructions here

    Downloads:

    Reporting Bugs
    • DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
    • DO NOT Report bugs if you're using TWRP
    • DO NOT Report bugs while having Magisk installed (especially with Zygisk enabled)
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

    Pre-Install Instructions

Warning: The following instructions will unlock the bootloader and wipe all userdata on the device.

    1. Connect the device to a Wi-Fi network.
    2. Enable Developer Options by pressing the “Build Number” option in the “Settings” app within the “About” menu
      • From within the Developer options menu, enable OEM unlock.
    3. Power off the device, and boot it into download mode:
      • With the device powered off, hold Volume Down + Volume Up and connect USB cable to PC.
      • Now, click the button that the onscren instructions coorelate to “Continue” and/or “Unlock Bootloader”.
    4. Your device will reboot, you may now unplug the USB cable from your device.
    5. The device will demand you format userdata, please follow the onscreen instructions to do so.
    6. Run through Android Setup skipping everything you can, then connect the device to a Wi-Fi network.
    7. Re-enable Development settings by clicking the “Build Number” option 10 times, in the “Settings” app within the “About” menu, and verify that “OEM Unlock” is still enabled in the “Developer options” menu.

Installing LineageOS for the first time
    1. Flash lineage recovery
Only the provided lineage recovery will be supported,
using TWRP might result in a possible data loss!!

If using Odin rename the lineage recovery image for your model to recovery.img and add it to a .tar archive using e.g 7zip.
If using Heimdall use: heimdall flash --RECOVERY recovery.img --no-reboot
    2. Boot lineage recovery
IMPORTANT: Do not boot into system again before booting recovery, or system will restore stock recovery!
If using Odin untick auto-reboot before flashing.
After flashing reboot by pressing Volume Down and Power for approximately 7 seconds,
immediately hold Volume Up and Power to boot recovery
IMPORTANT: As of OneUI 3 your device needs to be connected to a PC via USB cable in order to be able to
boot recovery via Volume Up, Bixby and Power.
    3. Factory reset using Factory reset -> Format data/factory reset
Warning: Unlike TWRP this will also erase internal storage!
    4. Sideload LineageOS by enabling sideload via Apply Update -> Apply from ADB
Then run adb sideload <path to your lineage.zip> on your PC
      Optional:
    5. Sideload GApps and magisk by repeating above step
      with their zip/apk

    Magisk
As this ROM has a working ramdisk sideloading the magisk apk is enough, just as it is
on every other device, no bootimage with magisk included or installing to recovery is needed!
I also strongly recommend to use Lygisk instead,
which is a fork of Magisk that aims to improve support for devices with FBE that can't (and shouldn't anyways!) decrypt userdata in recovery,
this will also fix OTAs getting stuck while having installed Magisk.

    Features

    • SELinux enforcing
    • AES-256-XTS FBE encryption
    • All cameras are working
    • Ramdisk is working

    • You tell me
    • Likely more

    Replaced with LineageOS
    1
I'm a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ plus owner and happy with phone but want to get out of the Google ecosphere in replacing it with a Linux competitive OS.
    Is that even possible?
Look up 'Andronix' in the Google Play Store. Andronix allows one to install Linux under your phone,...
