Hi HTML,
I found out that the system update function doesn't work. It just says that the search for updates failed and I should check my internet connection.

Nice work!
The System UI seems to randomly crash or crash under stress, like editing quick toggles order in the notification panel will consistently crash System UI (as with Android 12 you could see that the phone really struggles with the toggle animations and System UI in general). I believe the process is being killed off silently.

I'm poking around with adb trying some stuff. One thing I found was that I guess from Android 12 onwards SystemUI is asking too much from a Snapdragon 400 device to render @720x1280 without struggling with massive FPS drops and sometimes crashes. Setting via adb the resolution to 576x1024 or 540x960 (or even 450x800 if you want a really dramatic change) with a dpi of your liking is vastly changing the experience of the phone and I mean ALOT. Try it. I wonder if a variable resolution setting could happen in Android.

It's working fine, there is just no update at the server, it will work then.
Nice work!

There are also crashes because of selinux, many rules were added for the next builds.
It try to improve the stability at all.

Since Android 12, the text animations on the Fast Toggles under the notification panel obliterates performance. I wonder if using somekind of hack that reduces animations or reverts to an older version of the SystemUI or a replacement of the part of the SystemUI from a different ROM deployment of Android. This is literally the only issue past Android 11 performance wise, nothing else changed.
Also I was hesitating to ask but, what happened to FM Radio? Did something change since Android 12 and it's missing?

I have the same problem, but i found a temporary solution. If I saw something is crashed, I enter to recovery mode, fix SELinux, reboot. I use this trick at every reboot. (May not work on your phone)

I guess patching rules one by one would be a better solution than randomly fixing rules but I'll wait for the next build.

It seems like the quick toggle scrolling text hogging performance is a general issue with LOS. I noticed exactly the same issue with devices that should have no issue with rendering those elements. Hmm, maybe a general LOS bug?
