This is SlimBean android 4.3.x for Samsung S2 Plus (GT-I9105P and GT-I9105)






What is working?

- RIL - Calls, SMS
- WiFi
- 2G and 3G network
- GPS
- Screenshots and app previews
- Camera (only photos)

Everything else is working except things under NOT WORKING section.

What is not working?

- Vibrations
- Video recording, audio recording
- USB Connection (MTP doesn't mount memory drives on PC)
- Bluetooth (partially working)

- Please test the ROM and report what is not working. I do not own GT-I9105P/GT-I9105.

(Bugs reported by users will be updated here after they are confirmed. I do not own this device, so provide a logcat when reporting bugs.)

• Download the latest build
• Download Slim Gapps
• Addons (optional) from [here]
• Recommended Full wipe and factory reset
• Flash ROM using ClockworkMod recovery
• Flash addons (optional)
• Flash Gapps
• Reboot.

Ok, There is a problem with the Bluetooth It detects other ID devices but When I try to connect to them
i get an error message ( pin / Password error Can not Connect ).
and other devices Can not see my Bluetooth ID at all


Usb Connection - the Computer does not recognize the usb connection

Vibrations Not working

If I ran into another bugs I will let you know


Besides these bugs, it really Slim and fast rom

This is really weird

That's what I did

1 Full wipe and factory reset
2 Flash ROM
3 Wipe cache
4 Wipe dalvik cache
5 Reboot

Just works gr8 for me

It isn't my server.

As for the installation aborted issue that you are facing, you probably haven't downloaded the ROM completely. Try downloading again and match md5 sum. ROM is around 96 MB.

so i tested it,
-booted
-ril work
-wifi works
-everything seems to work and quite smooth n fast
-vibration same as the cm10.2,doesnt work
-camera works,but with same issue as pac rom,video recording doesnt
-sound recording doesnt work,internal error msg appear(maybe this causing the video recording?)
i be waiting the i9105 version to use as a daily driver,thanks again op for port it.

Indeed SlimBean ROMs are the best when it comes to battery backup. They are as smooth and light weight as any android ROM could get.

Usb Connection - the Computer does not recognize the usb connection

1) Does adb recognize your device? Try a few times by killing adb from task manager and then restarting adb and reconnecting the phone a few times.
2) Open device manager on PC - Connect your phone - Click SCAN FOR HARDWARE CHANGES (icon on top) - Does your phone model show up in Peripheral Devices connected?

Try these things a few times, not just once using both, enabling and disabling USB debugging in developer options. Also in developer options, select - Provide root access to both adb and apps.

Please provide a logcat so that I may seem what is going on. Provide logcat separately when using video recording and sound recording.
Does video recording FC when you press start recording?

Somebody please provide me the screenshot of the "About Phone" screen from your phone. Make sure the MODEL NUMBER and SLIM BUILD VERSION comes in the same screenshot. I'll put in the OP. ok,i opened device manager on my pc and then i connected my phone


1 my pc recognize adb interface right away:good:

2 but on portale devices (phone model) it was a small yellow triangle

I tried what you said and provide root access to both adb and apps

restarting usb debugging on my phone a few times

and the yellow triangle Gone Away :good:

Hi,its me again,i din't manage to logcat the rom back then,since all my info are in the stock rom and i revert back to it,but the bugs are should be same like cm and pac man,i asked CoolDevelopment about the video recording,he said the same,you can ask him for more.

For some reason,the rom i flashed is for i9105p,now it sounds crazy,i9105 can flash it too given the right cwm version.

Just now CoolDevelopment release i9105's cmw,i change my i9105p cwm to my own i9105 cwm,then i downloaded op new build, slimbean for i9105(94.9mb)
this time the build can be flash but stuck in galaxy s2 plus logo,i try different type of flashing method but no luck.(i suspect it might be the source problem since the same problem for i9105 pacman)
Sorry for about that,i would provide more feedback if i manage to test the slimbean for i9105,maybe i should try flash the i9105P version again,but i think i have no spare time to do it for now.
Perhaps tomorrow,i'll test back the i9105P build again and provide you the logcat.

the video camera opened, but the Recording button does not respond

sound recording doesnt work It gives an error message (internal app error)

Google Now opened and When I press the talk button ,the recording window immediately

closes and then I get message " can't reach google at the moment "

hi, i've been using ur rom for abt 2 days with all my daily usage. very fast and responsive . really great job . all what is annoying me is vibration, i have to keep my device silent for most of the day so i count on vibration to notify me . i hope u find a fix for that. all other features are awesome and super fast thanks.
