CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the CyanogenMod and Android Open Source Project.
We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. Installation
3-button-combo = "Volume Up" + "Home" + "Power"
- First time flashing CarbonRom to your Galaxy S4 Mini (or coming from TouchWiz/Stock Based ROMs)?
- Install a Custom Recovery (CWM, TWRP, Philz Touch)
- Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo
- Do a Nandroid Backup!
- WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + format /system partition)
- Install the ROM from internal/external sdcard using the Custom Recovery that you've installed (CWM, TWRP, Philz Touch)
- Optionally install Google Apps
- Done! You can now reboot the phone to enjoy the rom
- Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo
- Do a Nandroid Backup!
- WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + format /system partition)
- Install the ROM from internal/external sdcard using the Custom Recovery that you've installed (CWM, TWRP, Philz Touch)
- Optionally install Google Apps
