I'm looking forward the newest update for the M variant. With all the fuzz about Pokemon Go using SafetyNet to block root users I'm thinking about flashing Magisk and play again once the update is live (I know bugs will be my responsibility, though, I'd rather have a stable system than PGo so I might go back to the clean ROM).

Has anyone tested Screen Mirroring to a TV (aka wfd service, or Wi-Fi Direct)? It can be done with a SmartTV.
I'm going to leave that feature if it is not working. It is not supported in stock ROM too.

@Nick Verse Making Screen Mirroring support in Stock Rom, is very easy, you can do from (Rom Control) add a support with the necessary files and that this then appears in the system ui. You can also create a port. I could do it in my custom rom stock 5.1.1 here I leave the link to check is starter for FN and M. https://mega.nz/#F!cUYi3JzD!yFQmzsefKkevhOeWyy6zuw
Do not attempt to do so on CM. I will try if I can do CM13. Likewise all the luck to you. And if you can have a look at the link I sent you. Screen Mirroring works smoothly.
regards :good:

Unfortunately, the latest update did not fix the reboot/shutdown stuck bug.
Did you wipe also the Android folder from your external SD card before updating fresh? If not then that's the reason you might have that problem.
This folder keeps data from previous versions, so it must be deleted. You also have to wipe /data, /internalsd, /cache, /dalvik-ART, /android_secure.
My device works fine.

To all others:
Don't report bugs if you are a noob. (We all have passed this time of learning things, but some people get selfish and pretty annoying!)
Don't report bugs if you do not know the procedure of clean flashing.
Don't report bugs if custom changes have been done.
Don't report bugs if xposed module is installed.

Hi @zonik. I saw your CM 13 thread for J5 2 days ago. I'm glad to see CM 13 development has started for our device, mine on G variant. I will test your rom when you have squashed the call speaker bug and I will be move on from CM 12.1. Kinda bored with CM 12.1 now, lol :D and the developement just getting bit silly.

Is the right thing mentioned about the problem with the restart, not always but very steady, if you are someone who needs to restart your phone from time to time is uncomfortable having to remove the battery or have first pressed the power button until restart. Eh tried the build 2016/09/08 J500FN a clean installation (6Wipes) and still has reset error and QR.take it easy this helps you to find a solution to your rom, that way the excellent work with fewer errors will remain.

It is. Otherwise things like half-baked cm13 without major features working happen. You could always download the source and build it yourself. It's not that hard, just takes time ;)
Poor Zonik hahaha
Seems like he's not a dev like nick so he just port the things.
Well, I do not agree at all but ye you're right

Hello guys! Just to inform you!..
At first, thank you all the support.
It is not a shame or wrong to be a porter, or a themer etc. We can learn from each other.
We learn everyday, and this requires too much effort and reading, plus coding, failing and coding again. Especially when time is limited we have delays.
We live in a world that is full of pressure and anxiety, and the least we can do is to wait for the final build and co-operate with each other through development.
I am full of respect with people that have matured and now listen, report and contribute the right way.

Thank you for reading this "off-topic" comment! :p

The idea of the supremacy of man, always exists.
The want to compare who is more or less.
But they do not realize that this does not help.
As stated everyone is good at his subject.
Proud with what one is, never lower his head.
The aim of this is that all going the same way, which is the development for this community. Deal of good and bad reviews and learn to live with the good and bad. Respect for them to respect you. Very happy with what I learn every day.
This is off topic but it was necessary. It is better to give, than to do nothing and criticize :silly:

Pd. Good job and follow your thing you do well my brother. ;)
