CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.0 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

What's Working:
  • Almost everything since rev3
What's Not Working:
  • Look
Instructions:
  • If you are installing over Nubia firmware then flash this firstt https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24591000424951155 or it will not boot.
  • Download the latest build and gapps. opengapps.org (Typical combination --> Android 7.1 , arm64, pico)
  • Reboot to recovery.
  • Flash the latest build and gapps.
  • Reboot & do not forget to reboot once after first startup
Downloads:
Reporting Bugs:
  • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
  • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
  • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit log.

Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

CM 14 for TZE Nubia Z9 Max (nx512j)

Hey,
got some issues with CM 14.. in this alpha build system sounds (notification - calls, sms, etc) isnt working for me, only sound via 3rp party app, like JetAudio works. In Bauuuuu's latest build, from 16.10.2016, sounds works, but rom didnt detect any of my simcards, so I cant use any of CM 14 roms on my phone... hope there will be some build in the future (maybe CM 14.1? :) which will work correctly for me.

Everything seem to work well except that I have an issue about the headphone slot.
All media audio works perfectly through phone speaker but when a headphone was attached, youtube stopped, music stopped.
I used a runtastic heart rate monitoring gadget which attaching through the headphone slot too and it's been unable to function at all.
Any suggestion?

I flashed back to the official rom version 9.20 and headphone slot has been back to normal.

No SIMs again

Thanks m8 for the new build! Sadly, for me its the same story like with your last CM14 build. The system cant detect my simcards, so I cant get past the initial setup.. :(

    yes, it will be updated .. waiting for complete cm source
    2
    that could be tried but i cannot check the kernel source and device tree exists in CyanogenMod

    I see, well to bad but maybe...just maybe some day you will have the insight to the source.
    Just let me know, when it´s done.^^

    Btw jfi @all, I was bored and tried to flash this ROM on the nx510j...no worries at all, it just said sth like: "Can´t install, not compatible." The bad things just happens, when I tried to be x-tra smart and started the TWRP-backup restore...from this point, the phone crashed while restoring, deleted /SDcard, Internal storage and wasnt able to mount, coz of the "E: failed to mount /sdcard (no such device)"-error. Took me some days to get back the possibility just to install any ROM or recovery again....now finally it starts back to the nubia 4.48 Stock ROM but freezes and crashes on the 1st startUp settings. Well, will fix this too soon. ;)

    @haliski
    Weeks ago I just unlocked the OEM via fastboot and flashed TWRP. From TWRP I installed the CM13 from the external SD for my nx510j via the install-button and rebooted to recovery. Then I installed the Gapps same ways. (u can install both .zip-files in a row but it´s the safer way to install one by one)
    I havent rooted it via TWRP, causes often fails, so I just started to the CR CM13 and installed via PlayStore the SuperSu-app. (But you havent to do so to root, coz CM has the option to activate root in the settings with their integrated root-solution...but I like the SuperSu and worked very well for me).

    Here are the fastboot-commands I used in order, just in case. ;)

    fastboot devices
    fastboot oem unlock-go
    fastboot oem device-info
    fastboot -i 0x19d2 flash recovery recovery.img
    fastboot reboot

    Hope it helps alil.

    I`d installed NX512J_update_405.zip and now I`m on android 5.1.1. How do I get back to cm14 in a safe way?
    Install FW again + ROM + GAPPS?
    Also, the phone is not booting into recovery.
    Thank you!
    https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862691645 download this -->

    @bauuuuu
    Could you please make an nx510j CM14?
    Atm I'm on CM13 but sadly it won't be updated anymore. I really would aprecciate it so hard.

    Or is it compatible with the 510 since your last update ? Just asking. ;)

    that could be tried but i cannot check the kernel source and device tree exists in CyanogenMod
