Yeaaah the snapchat's a qcom display glitch. I can fix that soon maybe.... Been prepping for Hurricane Irma so development got pushed to the very very last back burner.

These have not been tested to their max so flash at your own risk. Things to come: Thermal controls and maybe display tweaks. Has a bunch of governors and has been updated to Linux 3.18.70 from 3.18.32 which is further than any other g5, v20, or g6 kernel. There is also some frandom tweaks and some ioscheds gonna make a thread after some testers participate.

Unfortunately not its a custom only kernel. Has roughly 2000 commits so its a beast as far as changes goes.
This ROM is AWESOME, especially with the new kernel. Very well done
Small little tidbit, If you use a pin number for the lock screen, IF you reboot the device, the security pin is wiped out, and the screen goes back to insecure swipe method.

That's really strange, I know if you use fingerprint that isn't the case (I have fingerprint enabled) some issues with the ROM I've not yet stomped is video in snapchat and that's about it, I just built an update two days ago that fixed audio in calls. but haven't uploaded yet due to the issue with Snapchat still being present.
Well I reinstalled, full wipe, format data, and installed Kang kernel. Now the pin works fine.

Hi, I'm pretty new to the whole Rooting and flashing custom ROM's scene, I've currently got an LG G6 H870 (which is quite **** ill be honest when it comes to stability and software and battery life) I was wondering if you guys could help me with deciding how good this ROM is for battery life and just general use when it comes to camera and UI?
Recommended, I've tried it on other devices and also on this LG G6 and it works great. The camera is not your strong point, if your priority is the camera better stay in stock and as for battery I'm doing very well, better than in stock. I also have an H870, but since I am now in Stock Oreo I do not install DU, because apparently there is no version 8.

I see, but is the camera still functional within the this ROM? I've been reading around and I've found that within some ROMs the wide angle functionalities don't seem to be working.
You have to use camera app from the Google store but I forgot the name ...

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!
