[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][7.1.2][NIKEL] LineageOS-14.1 For Xiaomi Redmi Note 4

GOOD JOB :good::good:
But I found some bugs in this ROM (08-12-2017). Some bugs can be listed as follows.
* Could not read & write external storage (such as SD card, OTG).
* Could not play music.
* Could not use 4G (CHINA MOBILE disabled 3G services, so I can only use E).
* RIL not working fully (can show signal strength, network types and use mobile data).
* Could not install small applications (less than 1MB).
* Could not scan hidden WLAN AP (this WLAN AP has added to WLAN AP list).

I have been trying to test it but i have been waiting almoust an hour for the boot of the first start but it dosn't starts.

I flashed this ROM (8-12-2017) yesterday from 8.2.1.0 ECRMod and found something strange:
1. Wipe -> factory reset and then install the ROM, get error 7.
2. Follow the instruction to fix error 7 (open updater-script using WordPad, delete from the beginning to the semicolon before "ui_print"), flash again and get error 6, but when I restore the updater_script file, i can flash the rom without any problems.
3. Some settings don't work.
3. I can send and recieve message normally, use USSD code to check my mobile account and recharge, the phone rings whenever people call me but when I answer the call it say that "mobile network not avaliabe".
Orther than that, the ROM is as fast as expected.
Since it's my only device, I have to go back to MIUI now
Hope that my report can help you develop the ROM.

Hello!! You must not open updater-script with WordPad, is not compatible. For editing that file I used Notepad++ and you will not get any error.

Hi, great work out there. I have questions for the rom:
- Is this ROM supports Vulkan out of the box?
- Is the fingerprint working atleast (but still buggy) in this rom?

Would love to use this even though miui 9 beta rom is out but still pure android experience is ?

Miui 9 beta today for mtk, I don't think so

In the post it says "Call" known issue. And on 30 July it got fixed or not? Its bit confusing. Please anyone clear that what does mean by Call issue... What sort of call issue. We cant receive or make calls? Thanks

The issue is still there, I can't make call or receive the incoming call, both say "mobile network not avalible".

Thanks for reply... That means there is no need to install this rom. We made a big mistake by buying mediatek note 4. Stuck at marshamallow... Even my samsung S4 still the best with all latest custom roms compatibility... Feel so much bad... Xiaomi even didn't update it to nougat...

that is true! it looks that this devise is not going to get an android update, even the new miui 9 beta that miui has lanched is runing on marshamallow

That's because it's not MIUI 9 yet, it's coming in September for Nikel.
