No need to root unless you specifically need it. Install TWRP via QFIL, wipe data and cache, install lineage (and gapps) and then run RM forceencryptTo recap, for have a fully functional lineage:
- root via qfil
- lineage installation following the guide
- no bootloader unblock needed
Is it so?

Is there no need to install SuperSU via twrp, too?No need to root unless you specifically need it. Install TWRP via QFIL, wipe data and cache, install lineage (and gapps) and then run RM forceencrypt
Typing "default_password" I get a "wrong password" message.Default password for data partition is default_password
You see this when starting twrp. Remember that wiping the /data partition (deleting files but not /data/media/0 = /sdcard) is not the same as formatting /data! With a format it will loose the password and /sdcard content and will be unencrypted.
Yes, supersu is totally optional. Only install it if you want to root the device too.Is there no need to install SuperSU via twrp, too?
And which version of gapps has to be installed?
