Hi, I successfully installed TWRP and LineageOS. As soon as I booted to android I have a message "To start Android, Please enter your password." What is the password? I wiped data, system, cache and dalvik before installing the ROM.

Edit: OK solved problem by RM Forceencrypt

Default password for data partition is default_password
You see this when starting twrp. Remember that wiping the /data partition (deleting files but not /data/media/0 = /sdcard) is not the same as formatting /data! With a format it will loose the password and /sdcard content and will be unencrypted.

To recap, for have a fully functional lineage:
- root via qfil
- lineage installation following the guide
- no bootloader unblock needed

Hi guys,
First, thank you so much for this amazing rom witch works better than stock.
Evrery things works great but i noticed some bugs :
- Play recording video do not works. I just have a Frozen image with song
- most of the time I don't have a working mobile data connection. I have got a E/3g/4g icons but no data (see the screenshots

Video only works if you start recording just after powering on the tablet. If you lock the screen then when you start filming you just get an image with sound. As for data I don't know, I have the wifi model.

This tablet is soooooo much better now!!

Truly, finally, a genuine replacement for my poor old Nexus 7 2013.

Thankyou Soo much!! Installed and everything so far is perfect.

Note - make sure you do a wipe after you install GAPPS .. otherwise you will get play services errors.

Yes, supersu is totally optional. Only install it if you want to root the device too.
I used the arm64/7.1/Pico open gapps package. You can go for one of the larger packages if you want but Pico works for me.

Now I'm installing all the needed apps and I'm wondering if it's possibile to definitely remove "telephone", "contacts" and "messages" applications.
