Thanks to CarlosArriagaCM rolex commits from where I fixed some compilation problems and @Josh1X pull requests to fix display driver and some boot parts :).

With fix or no fix, it still doesn't work. :(

Yup, it just gets stuck on the Moto boot screen. (and also it shows up in dmesg as a HID device for some reason)

Anyways, thank you to all the developers working to get Oreo on this device.

I've been working from yesterday till today to get Oreo building.

Fifteen minutes ago, I got it building. Haven't tested yet if booting. For now, it's on you.

    This is pure Google Android.

This ROM hasn't been tested yet.

    What's working?

    • Untested.

    What's not working?

    • Untested.

    Known bugs:

    - No SELinux Enforcing support for now. Planning on getting a fix.

    Experimental boot fix: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=961840155545591237

EDIT: Not working, sorry for keeping breaking your illusions.
Hey - it's the effort that counts. I am sure the entire community appreciates all that you do for this device. No illusions were shattered, mate! :)

Thread cleaned - far too many basic questions in a Development thread.

Thread closed for a period to arrest the idiocy.

Why everybody gives instructions about what to post and what to not.whatever comes in my mind I post it .

Well, you need to understand the reason we have Rules and actual Forum etiquette then. Have a look at this, since you clearly haven't: https://xdaforums.com/galaxy-note-10-2014/general/thread-t3603186. This was written to help newcomers like yourself to better understand how XDA works and enable you and others to gain benefit from XDA without impacting the enjoyment of others.

This is a DEVELOPMENT forum. That means, in plain words, it exists for those wishing to collaborate with Developers to further enhance their FREE offerings for the benefit of the community at large. It does NOT exist for the sake of help, questions, whining, ETAs, off topic, other ROMs or indeed unhelpful and non-contributory comments like yours.

In case you hadn't noticed, there are other Forums for this device - and others - where you can freely ask questions, involve yourself in discussions, talk about accessories and so on. So go and use them. Simple eh?
