Open GApps 8.1​



Install instructions
(Make sure you have latest Oreo vendor, radio and bootloader)
1. Boot into twrp and wipe data and system.
2. Flash RR ROM zip.
3. Flash TWRP installer zip.
4. Reboot -> recovery (this will reboot you into the other slot).
5. Flash Open Gapps.
6. Reboot and enjoy.​

I have had nothing but problems trying to get RR to install on my Marlin. I can't ever get it to get past the lockscreen, it goes black, then back to the lockscreen. It's only an issue with RR, I tried Razorloves GAPPS, Mindthegapps, and open, all have had the same issue.

Any advice on what my issue might be?

You definitely clean flashed and installed correctly? I'm not sure what's going on there I tried the sailfish build with and without Gapps and never had anything like this. Nothing crashes or anything, its just black?

Clean flash and installed correctly. I've only been able to get RR to flash successfully once, and that might have been when I had a 6P.

The only thing I can think of is I had a pattern lock in use, after I put the pattern in, it goes black, then redraws the lockscreen. It could be something with the gapps too though:rolleyes:
