Idk about that.I think there is a VoLTE issue with pie gsis, but i think theres a fix issued.

On a side note, what added more to my pie experience was that i got rama982's custom kernel working on the pie rom so was a plus point for me lol:laugh:

i think u r new on xda. This forum and all rom here are only for redmi 6 pro.

I joined xda in 2013. You did in 2014. I'm not new and you aren't either. Yet you don't know how to check xda age or how forums work.
Maybe you mean to say something else and it is being said wrongly due to language barrier.

Anyway, for anyone confused, this particular subforum is only for Redmi 6 Pro which is codenamed sakura or sakura_india. Don't flash roms from here on any other device except Redmi 6 Pro.

Is there going to be any updates of this rom? So far everything works great, but the only thing find I don't like is highly unstable cell signal.
Maybe it's not fixable, but i just wanted to ask.

Leave this. Flash Pie roms. They're stable and support the notch too. Use crdroid if you want a lot of customizations. Use LineageOs if you want less customization.

I flashed crdroid, and it's working fine, but i can't flash bunch of modules in magisk and also xposed is not available for android pie. Those are the only reasons i would go back to Linage 8.1 if the issue above was fixed.

Check out Edxposed for Pie.Why couldn't you install the modules on magisk?

I've had a decent Pie experience with Edxposed and Magisk and overall,my crdroid experience was great. The only reason I came back to LineageOS Oreo was because my payments/money transfer app Paytm was not working.Otherwise it would have been Pie from the start.

Speaker sound too LOW & future updates to LOS 15.1

Speaker call sound is very LOW while video calls using Whatsapp/IMO/Duo or any other apk.
Because of this i have moved to a different rom - otherwise this is a good and non-heavy rom.

By the way any more updates can we get for this rom in the near future in OREO version itself .. ? Please reply.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8 (oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Everything works great, just i would like to ask if there's gonna be any gestures support so we can hide notification bar?

I don't think LOS will have gestures. You can install Fluid Navigation Gesture app from play store. It works good.

You can also wait for many different roms that will come up in the next few days. Havoc, Crdroid etc. They will probably have gesture support built in.
